  1. I don't think village employees are permitted to post that.
  2. I think recycling stuff is often a false economy because you basically have to shoehorn your design around an existing layout and features and legacy engineering limitations, and that forces other parts of the design you wouldn't necessarily do otherwise. Whereas with a clean slate you can do the most optimal solution, which can well work out cheaper.
  3. I think Handicap is a bit of an antiquated term, hence words like Accessible parking space or PWD parking being preferred.
  4. Well yeah because FN lets like a billion guests in, so unless you are in the 1% on a terror tour you'll spend most of the night in cattlepens.
  5. You should be able to view wait times, just not make line reservations.
  6. I reckon this one is better. Better integration with the paths and ground (the ground especially towards the end) which is a big win for inverts, has airtime humps, faster turns and transitions....Almost like if Jet Rescue was an inverted coaster.
  7. Wouldn't it be mostly a virtual queue, and then a well spaced physical queue for the last few minutes once your return timeslot opens?
  8. I thought it was a blue scrim but you can see the sign through the aqua coloured wall behind?
  9. A wall with a sign that gives the name of the themed area.
  10. Good point, and to be fair flat rides often operate with every 2nd seat empty anyway. I really should get on Fully 6 too.
  11. I'll probably avoid for a little bit because operations are already too slow if you visit your typical park on a non peak day, so if you have to factor in less seats available and waiting for cleaning it'll just be far too much waiting.
  12. Protip, you are better off looking at the RAL colour charts. Mack (and Intamin for that matter) use them, not Pantone.
  13. At the time though I think everyone was pretty happy that the coaster wasn't going to be scrapped, since most of us hadn't had the chance to ride it. And despite not really fitting the site, the bargain for a full sized coaster available immediately would be too good to pass up. This all said, would you even call it a terrain coaster? https://rcdb.com/1141.htm#p=3629 It seemed like it was mostly at the bottom of the cliff and didn't really use the cliff to have a drop over the edge like this: https://rcdb.com/11663.htm#p=99507 Edit: Literally never noticed till now the faux mountain facade at the front of the ride. Impressive stuff.
  14. It's hard to believe the last new major slide was Constrictor almost 8 years ago. They did get WnW Jr, but most of us would be too old to benefit from that. And Super 8 got its fibreglass replaced, but is ultimately the same experience. Why isn't WnW, Australia's biggest water park getting big new Proslides like the water parks in Victoria, or themed ones like Jamberoo? Don't forget Mach 5 was closed and visitors were left without a replacement.
  15. https://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/zagame-family-pull-out-of-100-million-dingley-village-water-park/news-story/ecc1a25dcb38ce2b8da8c55d4a851e5e
  16. What about Surfrider But yeah that article sounds so garbled and the writer cannot concisely present ideas. Like yeah the "fREIgHt bOxES" (Shipping Containers) go back to the port after they are unloaded. Why would you keep 30 empty containers around paying demurrage/detention charges for no reason?
  17. So there is now orange track on site (Easy to mistake for orange safety webbing when you are whizzing by at a distance on the M1)
  18. I don't understand their lists because they choose rides that aren't even the most missed. Where's Eureka Mountain, LTRR, TOT, Wipeout, Batman Adventure? Why is the Magic Mountain chairlift in there but not the SW one?
  19. Because it's a new ride from a major manufacturer who puts them on their other rides, not an in house one with adhoc additions and incomplete drawings. Are you on a contrarian streak these couple of days mate?
  20. They could also use the tagline "Face Gravity - Face First"
  21. Yeah, on some top spins they wet riders, on other ones they are just done like a near miss that syncs with the ride movement.
  22. But they'd have money for another ride in that situation? Or are you saying this future ride should work with or without the launch coaster existing?
  23. At USJ they literally just put nets under every part of the flyer, which TBH spoiled the look of the Jurassic Park zone. But I imagine a MW flyer would probably only have a couple of token sections over paths, so you wouldnt need to install as many. https://www.parkz.com.au/photo/23428-Flying_Dinosaur/gallery/sort/newest/location/ride-2541/offset/13
