Raging Waters Sydney new waterslide update
I'd say it's confirmed to be a 1 or 2 person tube.

So other than the shitty globe and a bit that vaguely looks like part of CityWalk, what exactly have they knocked off?

Traveling fairs!
None. Australian carnies have purchased way too many of this type of ride.

Rides that need a refurbishment / refresh
I don't get why repainting these coasters is OK but repainting Whitewater World was considered as waste of money?

Is vomit reacting over and over the latest annoying repetitve behaviour, to substitute talking about shaded seating over and over? What will be next? One thing is for sure, he wont be able to stop himself doing it on this post too.

European theme parks to visit
Yeah, it's pretty easy to visit a few German fairs at any time of the year without too much effort, they are free to enter. When I was in Cologne for Phantasialand there was one right in the city, and then the Hamburg DOM was on when I was there for Heide Park / Hansa Park. https://deutsche-volksfeste.de/volksfesttermine Overall http://www.coast2coaster.eu/ is useful, set the coaster number to between 3 and 19 to filter out all the tiny parks, and that gives you a good sense of the major ones. If you do Phantasialand, you can combine it with Movie Park Germany. If you do Efteling, well the Netherlands is small enough to do Toverland and Walibi on a long weekend. If you go to Hamburg, you can daytrip out via train to both Heide Park and Hansa Park, which are within walking distance of stations. Personally im itching to visit Energylandia because it totally seems like an unsustainable rate of investment that will either fall in a heap or be found to be corruption, so I want to visit before that lol.

So I cant work out why the slides on the left have guards on the turns, but the one on the right doesn't.

White Water World Slide Repaints 2019 - 2020
No such product exists on the market to have brightly coloured fibreglass that wont fade. The only way is to buff and repaint regularly. The salmon and purple on the Rip weirds me out, that used to be purple and red.

Sky Voyager Discussion
I think there is confusion as to what a true preshow is. A preshow is when you get locked in a room, and a video plays or you watch an animatronic or a live actor. Eg like at the start of LTRR or Batman. A preshow is not really when you just shuffle past a video on loop.

Dreamworld Maintenance 2019
Yeah I don't mind it at all, it sounds fun and doesn't take itself too seriously.

I wouldn't mind if they did a Chernobyl maze next year.

Luna Park Melbourne update
Ok it rises up and down, but would still be mostly the same nauseating experience. I reckon Cavell St should be closed to traffic and sold to the park, since that would give a strip for expansion.

Steel Taipan Construction - Dreamworld Mack launched roller coaster
But Buzzsaw does a half loop with hang time when you get halfway through its standard cycle , so it's probably better to do a different element to provide some variety, especially given the close proximity.

Fully6 - WhiteWater World's new slide tower
To clarify what I meant is that I like Proslide or Whitewaters bodyslide design style better than Polins, but there's not much in it. I'm completely fine with body slides because how can you not like body slides.

Ardent to shrink Dreamworld footprint
I dont see DW ever running out of land, and if they do they can put in multi level parking. The park has been renewing attractions for years and hasn't really had a problem with the number standing (Im not talking about ride closures for maintenance btw) They've never built out the island, or re-used the Blue Lagoon site either. If you wanted to expand WWW the little tip of the car park next to Hydrocoaster, the old thunderbolt site, and the areas under the footprint of Cyclone could all accomodate ample numbers of slides for the foorseeable future.
