  1. Because if it's opening day, it should have opened at 10 or thereabouts, not at 2:30, at which point a number of guests who had come down specifically for opening had become fed up and left.
  2. ^ Haha, I've been on a few B&Ms which do the equivalent of "that"....... And then proceed to do 5 more inversions.
  3. Yeah, you access via the gates from LW/SE, and there are temp fences to keep guests from straying. In terms of wether its a long walk, check out themeparkgc's nearmap links, and use the measure tool to decide.
  4. I like the first photo, its like an unitentional comparison between TOT & BS. And how is it that I've never realised an abbrevation for Buzzsaw could be BS. Yeah, its plain laziness, but the ride is BS!
  5. Well, the sky generally isn't purple, (except at dawn and dusk) and cherry pickers are green, not orange.
  6. Photoshop colour filter on Steel Hawg? Looks ok.
  7. The original incident was an Iraq War veteran at Darien Lake on Ride of Steel who was there with his family. If you thought MW had it tough turning this lady down.....
  8. At the same time, hosting us is costing them money, so its probably better to do it straight after the park closes.
  9. But that's faulty logic. Able bodied people aren't killed because they are able bodied (And coaster accidents don't happen "All the time") But sadly, a double amputee died, because he was a double amputee, or else he wouldn't have come out of the ride. Because theme park operators learned from their mistakes. That's why.
  10. One of the songs is "I Gotta Feeling", by the Black Eyed Peas. Derp, someone had to make that post, and damned if I was going to let it be some random registering on the forum solely to post that one bleedingly obvious answer.
  11. Why? Eurofighters kind of suck. The problem is that they are like a wild mouse masquerading as a full size coaster, and trying to run compact cars through the size of inversions you see on Eurofighters jus fails miserably from a force/pacing standpoint. At least the El Loco makes the most of the design, and does the crazy stuff a full sized coaster can't.
  12. Nah nah, very much worth uploading mate. Thanks. Good to see it progressing along.
  13. Just throwing this out there before everybody rides, but here's my challenge: See if you are able to close the X-Car harness one handed....They've got more resistance than the ones on Superman!
  14. How big is the site in comparison, Dodge? Did you measure it in Google Earth or Nearmap?
  15. With statements like that, you could be an Architect!
  16. Plus you can always say have the message pre composed, and then its just a case of hitting send...Would take the whole of 5 seconds.
  17. I haven't seen it yet actually, but the bit where he makes giant springs to boing a petrol tanker into the air looks hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdtRAxwUQD4
  18. Go to the toilet and send it then?
  19. ...But 3:31 is where the testing starts from??? Not sure what else you would be expecting, its what the ride does.
  20. Lscia9, moved your posts to a thread actually about the parade.
  21. Off topic, but this question has been bugging me since I first saw your username, but does Westical = West testicle?
  22. Yeah....They should have built the wingrider
  23. These all look pretty Cool: X-Flight @ SFGA: So happy to see more of these B&M Wingriders getting built. Anyone notice in the pic it will have the same headfirst drop as is being done on the Swarm at Thorpe..A great "all rounder" example of a B&M. Dollywood are supposedly due to announce one soon too. I can see these being a popular new product to install just because of how 'different' it looks and the way it rolls a number of B&Ms experiences into one product. Superman @ SFDK: Looks pretty cool, except for the fact that X-Cars just shake side to side the entire ride. Hillarious to see Six Flags getting back into their old nonsensical method of theming by putting large emblems up etc, rather than relying on a story like our Superman Escape. Lex Luthor Drop of Doom @ SFMM: Umad Dreamworld? I've noticed people are already 'dancing on the grave' of GD by posting this on DWs FB. Still, I think they should have made the cars wider (like this http://www.zamperla.com/en/product/103/sky- ) to get around the capacity issue. I'm liking the Lex Luthor theme too.drop.html?category_id=8
  24. That was posted a page ago.
  25. I view it as a different kids age group to be targeting. Just like DW has Wiggles and Dreamworks, so no reason not to be co-existing side by side.
