  1. C) post without music, or superimpose ambient noise to throw off the content filter.
  2. It's up and running now: http://multivu.prnewswire.com/mnr/sixflags/50700/
  3. "Enjoy your ride on Gold Rusher, the best ride evvvuuuurrrrrrr"
  4. Lolololol, it says 69 at the end of the price hurr derr derp! I thought inflation had seen the days of 69 prices behind us, but Dreamworld delivers!
  5. ^Yup. Young padwan, B&M inverted coasters can be identified by the quad seating, and the boxy, square shaped track spine as seen on most B&M coasters: http://www.parkz.com.au/photo/GB/Chertsey/Thorpe_Park/813-Nemesis_Inferno/2,4,3493-Nemesis_Inferno.html I must've missed in the KBF report, what caused you to miss Silver Bullet? I'm pretty much the same mass, and had to do exactly this.
  6. Haha, its unfortunate for lighter people because its difficult to fight the harness lifting. I had to put all my weight on it, but was rewarded with a ride where the bike seat was down and I wasn't actually sitting on it. 4gs onto your legs is a pretty mad experience. But.... OMG,you skipped X2? Its not like it randomly flips in a continuous manner, it just happens at a couple of controlled points...The headfirst first drop is some you have to experience. It's less flippy than wipeout even. Its actually pretty good. Admittedly, I skipped it first visit too, but its worth a go as I found out 2nd time round at the park. Bit of a bummer to hear you missed both B&M invert coasters on your trip though.
  7. For the record, my bet is Summer Funomenom, but with 11 shows rather than 10.
  8. I agree, I’d view a ride re-opening as a ride re-opening too.
  9. ^Good thinking actually, a new slide at WWW for summer would be perfect. Also, why are they vaugley refering to the September attraction as a "thrill ride"? They're in the game of selling passes right? Why not send a strong message and just say "new roller coaster". If they said that, they'd selll more.
  10. Asdkfhdjkghdsfghklsdflk!!!! Post a link next time please, Don't worry, I'll do it. http://www.dreamworld.com.au/Visitor-Information/Unlimited-Entry-Pass.aspx
  11. No doubt its a very high quality ride, but $100 Mil gets you Indy, Spiderman, Mission Space etc, just seems a pretty high price tag for a cutesy sort of ride.
  12. If you are going to do that, it would in fact be cheaper to just chuck up a throw n go industrial shed like so: This means it can be built for purpose, and wont have the imposition of higher installation and running costs of a ride system with inclines. What you are proposing is costly and impractical.
  13. I've been on a couple of diskos, basically, the harness shuts automatically like the ones on Wipeout, except it never releases slightly. Rather, it keeps putting pressure on the whole time. The padding also has 3 annoying ridges on it rather than just being a rounded pad, so you do feel them a little bit. Nothing unbearable overall though.
  14. Just looking, that ride in Germany was 5 million EUR. FFFFFUUUUU Dreamworld, why didn't you pick that one?
  15. ^Not flat enough, its got tiered seating remember.
  16. 100 mil? Pfftchhpppffttchchc. They got ripped off.
  17. Could you wait it out? The Myfun pass will be on offer for the next 140 days (Dreamworlds $69 offer only grants admission till September, so it will run out before the coaster is open) so you could keep an eye on construction at both WVTP and Ardent, and see what takes your fancy?
  18. I could sort of accept it if they did a twist on the current DW and WWW logo, and had a sphere with Kids World text wrapping around it as the logo...play off the current strong branding of the aforementioned.
  19. They do sell them though....for $109: https://myfun.com.au/big3/VIP-pass/Select-your-pass.aspx
  20. Lolwut? Other than the Dinosaur at the entrance of Reptar, can you give any examples?
  21. "Kids World" ?!??!? Cedar Fair called, they want their name back.
  22. Agree with this actually, its not as if there is a shortage of flats at Dreamworld...It's almost as if they came too early, and wanted something for these school holidays instead of just waiting for another 3 months. Anyhow, I reckon I'll wait a couple of weeks until after the holidays, just in case the theming isn't done, and of course to avoid any potential lines. I'll also get a chance to check out "Central" by then (See what I did there).
  23. 150 = Base Model 450 = Extended.
  24. Yes it would. Chessington World of Adventures has Kobra, which is the larger model, and it that is definitely a family ride in a family park.
