Yeah, but I thought enthusiasts on the whole could spot new maintenance/construction from a mile off

Lscia8, could you please not use capital letters for every single word. Only use them at the start of sentences, and for proper nouns. Sorry, but it's really shitting me. And some other punctuation wouldn't go astray either.

I bet now I've said this there will be one next week, but why no water park related challenges yet?

Jamberoo: waste of time and money
This is true....One spin per ticket/green light. I have seen people who didn't wait till the person ahead of them had 'spun' through properly, and they just walked straight into a locked bar. Ouch.

Still a rumour about it being stand up Joz....Though if it is, it would be cool since it would be the first stand up with a Zero G Roll. I did get a pretty awesome ride on Riddlers last time when I deliberatley adjusted the harness so all the weight was on my feet Though I still think their Flyers and Dive Machine are better...Inverteds too.

Dreamworld's 30th
See, personally I can't see the point of the 11am sessions, or any other sessions in park hours. Passholders being the exception, you've basically thrown down your money for 7 hours worth of rides and entertainment. Seeing a movie is cutting into about a quarter of that, and costing you more in the process.

Thing is, if you use fixed seats it means you can't fit as many seats in the cinema because the rows have to be wider.

^I think you probably just had some bad luck when you went, I mean what are the odds several major rides go down at once? (Would have to be a mechanic running around that day!) Loved that little trick at 2:06 where they made the fountains "wave". Also loled at 3:46 when Justin Beiber started playing and the crowd simultaneously booed.

I think that is a recipe for non-Q4U guest rage. Q4U is meant to just be a placeholder for you in a line, But I don't see why it then means you then get pick of the draw over other riders...It would mean that front row seats would near be impossible for everyone else to get because the Q4U riders would almost always get in first to take them. The way I see it the best way should be to have a proper 'free for all' at loading gates so people can choose where to sit, and Q4U riders would enter in at the start of the "free for all".- The Off Topic Topic
Somewhat interesting, but Intamin have built a new website, and it has a page on the Jetski Coaster: http://data.sphosting.ch/Intamin/Media/Jet...i%20Coaster.pdf Some nice schematic drawings of the train, and you can even see how the layout was changed a little bit in the final design that was built.- Dreamworld's 30th
Balls. Missed this photo! http://www.facebook.com/photos.php?id=2455...05.245592075843 That roof looks like it gets uncomfortably low in that corner....There goes the Claw views too Why did they suddenly change from a barrel vault to a skillion at the last bit of the roof? Looks shit doing that.- Parkz Creative Genius
This. I'm guessing the competition rules were inspired by Manta at SW Orlando, but the animal + ride themed to that animal was a bit limiting in this case. But, as Joz said, you nailed it. Or even this: http://www.parkz.com.au/photo/US/San_Diego...eck_Rapids.html- Dreamworld's 30th
Is it membrane or shadecloth? Basically, what I want to know is why the ground is wet underneath? The fears about it blocking the view of the Claw seem unfounded, fortunately.- Dreamworld's 30th
So, the new roof..What style is it?- movie world parade
But the day time parade retained the DC stuff after the actual "DC 25th Anniversary" holiday night events had finished anyway. Timeline... DC Night Parade > DC Day Parade > Christmas Parade > DC Day Parade.- Jet Stunt Extreme - Seaworld
Agreed. I thought it was a pretty decent display...I do hope it stays around. I think it works because it's just impressive stunts and that's it! Simple but effective. Pics can be seen here: http://www.parkz.com.au/update/2010/12/12/#258- movie world parade
Possibly due to it not being Christmas anymore.- Hollywood Stuntdriver Update Thread
Maybe because at the time Dreamworld had been doing nothing but upcharges, and it was at the expense of actually doing stuff. In this case all MW is doing is leveraging off something they already have. No different to say at SW and DW where you can pay extra for a closer animal encounter ....But if you don't pay you can still enjoy the animals in the normal viewing areas. - The Off Topic Topic
