  1. I'd probably do WnW on New Years Day.....Good idea actually. It's the busiest park this time of year. Movie World, even if busy, can still be done in a day if you turn up before opening time (opens at 10, so be there 9:30...allow for traffic too) My suggested strategy would be to do Scooby Doo very first thing a couple of times (with no line if you are quick enough), then Wild West Falls if the mood takes you. Take a look at the time at this point, and see how close you are to 10:30-11:00. The first Stunt Driver show is at 11, so head in at 10:30. (The morning show is the best one since the seats are in the shade since they face west, and more people try to see the later shows which means longer lines and a risk of not getting in) Once HSD is done go and do Superman, then Batwing / Lethal Weapon.
  2. I reckon it looks sex TBH, it's one sort of architectural style that really appeals to me....I'm a big fan of aluminium cladding and that sort of pure form, 'contemporary japanese' sort of influence.
  3. I was wondering when they would start offering an experience like this.....These sort of premium experience are always a good move IMO...It's fine to cater to bargain hunters with $99 passes etc, but if they tap into a steady stream of rev heads who will happily pay $180 then good on em I say. Now they just need to do something like Busch Gardens, and offer a behind the scenes coaster tour
  4. As in 4 months ago, or 16 months ago? They've had Angus for about 12 months.

  6. ^Really? Ever since MW switched to Angus beef I thought they've been pretty decent.
  7. Because you should say please when asking someone to do something for you, especially if it's something time consuming like making textures.
  8. ^On an iPhone lol? I'm guessing you meant to type imply and not intimate. It was a fun little ride, just don't go booking flights to ride it!
  9. ^Either that or have $9 worth of coins, head to the right once inside the gates, and then go to the bay of lockers farthest from the gates. Another small tip...The Dominos is probably the place with the fastest service when you're looking to eat...It also has perhaps the best value food item in the park, a full sized garlic bread for $4.95, which is ok considering their standard price is usually about that mark anyway.
  10. Just on Wet n Wild...It will most likely be the busiest park of the bunch. Turning up early (Eg 30 mins before opening) could be good if you get your locker sorted quicky and do a mad run to get stuff done before the masses. Either that or wait a couple of hours after opening, and do as Joz suggested. Turning up say 30 mins after opening is probably a recipe for disaster since thats about when crowds heading into the park swelled. Do the River Rapids slides, Kamikaze and Surfrider, and perhaps Black Hole first up since they probably have the slowest moving queues. As Joz said, Super 8 Aquaracer and Mammoth Falls can be done later on, at times when everything else seems busy. Even if these rides appear to have a massive line, it will move quickly due to the number of people these slides can churn through. Ad be aware, you will feel shattered after a long day at Wet n Wild, so if you are planning on having a rest day, put it after your wet n wild day, because you'll still be feeling it in the morning.
  11. There's an article on the campaign here: http://www.campaignbrief.com/2010/12/lego-...ittle-help.html Last year they had a similar campagin that was a bit of a fail....Basically a lego Santa was featured on bus stop posters, with the words "Search: Santas Little Helper" so clearly it was reaching out to those on mobile devices (Being at a bus stop and all) So you duly go and put that term into google and the campaign site is the top (purchased) result. You then go into the site, but it's done with flash, so the people it was aimed at can't actually use it.
  12. ^It'd probably just be some rainy school day in the middle of winter, most likely.
  13. And I thought I was bad for travelling down to Southend from London to try the Disk 'o' there. PS, nah not worth a flight though.
  14. Hooray. This is how it should be done. The proper way to run a coaster is to open the gates as soon as the restraints are released for the previous load of riders...Boarding times are reduced because an excited load of new guests "forces" the previous riders to vacate quicky and gather their belongings before other get near. Boourns. Hopefully there is some other reason for not having the themed soundtrack. YES! They didn't have that yet when I was there. Had to settle for ordinary cookie dough flavour.
  15. But that means you'd just be comparing "types to types" (Eg the best animal exhibit versus the best darkride) Random shuffle is the way to go.
  16. ^It's not Merlin that own the SeaWorld/Busch parks, but Blackstone, and Blackstone own Merlin and Universal Orlando (And the other Univerals?) too. Each of these companies is pretty independent really, and they do their own thing.
  17. Here it is anyway: I'm unsure as to how that would be fleshed out into a your typical 20 minute presentation though.
  18. Fail. It can't be made any bigger (And you may recall the arena was increased in size as much as practicable from the original police academy set) .....WB Kids Zone the north, property boundary to the west, Dirty Harrys & Scooby Doo to the South, Main street and the grandstand to the East. Where exactly do they expand it?
  19. It starts at 6pm, so as early as you want before that I guess?
  20. ^Bangs head against wall....So if I were to answer the question of "What is a skycoaster?" I would either: A ) Give them a link to the official website, which I would've had to find via google (Since I don't know it the official website off by heart) B ) Give them a link to the Wiki article C ) Give them a link to a Youtube video. And if I'd have to do one of the above to actually be able to make a post answering the question, then why wouldn't they just do it themsevles in 5 secs instead of waiting for someone else to answer on a forum? Personally, I think there's a big difference between the sort of specialised discussions that occur on forums, eg "How does this work?", "when is the best time to visit here?", "what is being built there?", "what is your favourite ____?" Versus simple, self answerable questions like "What is a ____?" http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=fgi
  21. Why penguins will be an awesome addition to the park:
  22. It's even better then what the pics show actually...You can see the pattern and colour of peoples boardies for instance.
  23. ^Indeed.....If there's an existing thread on a given thing it's better to post in there.
  24. ^Google, Wikipedia or Youtube didn't have anything about skycoasters? If you look in one/more of those places right now Ill be nice and pretend you didn't make that post.
