Bid to create Coomera 'Jurassic World'
I have a bunnings 5 minutes from my place, and then another is 10 minutes away, and they are both by Motorways. Brisbane + Market saturation FTW.

Tower of Terror Update
They'd just rotate the camera around from its current position, duh.

Shrek Leaving...
Wouldn't be much fun Again, like BTTF/Simpsons, it relies upon a special type of vehicle, those hanglider seats that get lifted high into the air and moved into a dome shaped screen that encompasses your field of view. Please guys, we're talking about 3D films here, not simulators.

Annual Pass
WVTP for sure....You've got Aqualoop, Battle Sails, Penguin Encounter, whatever replaces Shrek, MWs Christmas event etc etc. At this stage its only the TOT upgrade at DW, with nothing announced for WWW.

Bid to create Coomera 'Jurassic World'
T bone, how popular is this place? It's probably the closest thing to what is proposed. http://www.nationaldinosaurmuseum.com.au/

Shrek Leaving...
But they'd need to tilt side to side wouldn't they? The ones in Shrek can only rock back and forth. Plus you'd need to re-do the film since the Simpsons is on an 'Imax Dome' screen (And hence distorted appropriately in order to provide the illusion of immersion) and the Roxy is just your regular screen.

Shrek Leaving...
That particular technology relies upon the viewer being in a particular place (a 'sweet spot') for the effect to work. The 3DS will actually feature a slider to control the strength of the 3D effect to account for different viewing distances. As such it only really works for one person since if you aren't in front of the screen it wont work. This just wouldn't be practical in a theatre because its so big and hence has many different viewing points.

US Trip - West & East Coaster Questions
Gwazi yeah I'd steer clear of if Ghostrider was a problem I'd say Kumba was about as rough as Corkscrew with the old trains, the other two big coasters are fine. I can't remember what Scorpion was like..

Disney Dream - First Ever Water Coaster
I remember seeing that, though its not a water coaster, its just a master blaster.

WnW 2010: Aqua Loop, Flowrider, Zipline, Skycoaster
Arrgh, I was racking my brain the whole time, knowing that there was a proper word, but not being able to think of it.

Tower of Terror Update
Depends on how smoothly it begins its launch really...

WnW 2010: Aqua Loop, Flowrider, Zipline, Skycoaster
Themeparksgc...on the really big ziplines, you just take the running wheels device with you. I remember on a school camp they had a dual giant flying fox, and you'd put on your harness and helmet, and the running wheel device would be in a backpack you'd take up to the top, where it would be clipped onto the cable. When you get to the bottom the whole device is taken off the cable.

4.5g is the force you feel on the curve up to vertical, not the launch force. The ride is o to 160 kmh^-1 in 7 seconds right? That's a launch force of 0.64 g....There're coasters with brake runs more forceful than that. If it is being flipped in reverse then I think it is probable we would see Intamins soft OTSR, as seen on rides like Kirnu and Tornado.

GUESS WHO’S COMING TO SEA WORLD?
If he's your brother, why have you both got James in your account names ? And what about these 3 other accounts: http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/index.php?showuser=3269 http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/index.php?showuser=3264 http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/index.php?showuser=3271 Do you have 3 other brothers...all named James too?

GUESS WHO’S COMING TO SEA WORLD?
I think they mean the actual Elmo and Abby puppets (Or, I guess as the press release puts it, muppets ) will be coming to the park, not the character suits they already have. PS, Suhan, don't make multiple accounts, use your existing one thanks.

Tower of Terror Update
So hang on, you've said: And. Is it a type of paint or isn't it? I've always understood galvanisation to be a chemical process where they use a galvanisation bath or put it in a chamber, but what you're describing just sounds like painting with a specialised product such as this. And painting is what ads068 etc suggested in the first place.

Plus, if it were galvanised wouldn't it be a metallic colour with that distinctive galvanised surface texture, not black?

WnW 2010: Aqua Loop, Flowrider, Zipline, Skycoaster
-I thought this would be an obvious one, but notice how the loops on one side will be hanging over Aqua Racer, If Aqualoops tower was pushed back to line up with Aqua Racer, then the loops would 'hit' the first couple of dips on Aqua Racer, since the lanes are higher up at that point. -If the Aqualoops tower was lined up with Aqua Racer, the 'free space' would end up being in front of the Aqualoops (And the space created would probably be of some useless size) So if an attraction were built in this space, you'd have constrained site access, and the new attraction would block the view of the Aqualoops. The way they have done it means the left over space is a good size, that extends right to the parks southern boundary.

Warner Bros. Movie World, July 2010
Are animatronic grave stones real old School MW or something? The only animatronic one I have ever known of is the one that pops up in WWF.

Good waterpark in sydney melbourne or between?
^Even though Jamberoo offers other activities, the water slides on offer there would still be superior to the entire collection available Big Splash.

There is also Big Splash water park in Canberra: http://bigsplashwaterpark.com.au/ The public swimming pool in Benalla also has a single outdoor water slide.
