Dreamworld reviewing its master plan.
Translinks statement was a roundabout way of saying the 709 is undeeded now (The route that solely exists to shuttle between Helensvale and GCHU) I think the changes are a net positive, just because the wait times between services would be less, and it's better for tourists since they don't really have to check a timetable whilst in holiday mode. If a full time gate was built where Blue Lagoon is that's a 1.3km walk from the station, which is probably fine for most people, (You do a similar walk from the station to Chessington work of Adventures) but possibily unpalatable for families with small kids, or staff members leaving after dark. In any case, a route via DWs front door would probably always exist in some form, because the Old Pacific Highway corridor needs a bus anyway, and such a route is logically always going to run from Coomera to Helensvale. PS, that coomera highrise is laughable...There are only two reasons to live in a highrise....to be near to the heart of the action, and if there is a nice view. That site has neither.

disneylands new guardians of the galaxy ride opening soon
Yeah but why do you have to shout them in CAPITAL LETTERS? Why can't you write them properly with punctuation? And why can't you post in existing threads on particular topics?

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom or California's Great America?
Six Flags Six Flags Six Flags Six Flags Six Flags Six Flags Six Flags Six Flags Six Flags Six Flags It just has much better rides overall. Great America really only has Flight Deck and Gold Striker of note (And they recently put floorless trains on their old stand up coaster and renamed it Patriot. But then Six Flags has a much bigger and better Floorless Coaster, a couple of solid secondary coasters in V2 and Superman, plus they did an RMC conversion on Roar and turned it into Joker (I'd return for that alone to be honest) The park is nicer overall, especially with the animal exhibits. Seattle has Wild Waves https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Wild+Waves+Theme+%26+Water+Park/@47.27506,-122.3105275,331m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x549057d453f25869:0x1acef3554b163e2!8m2!3d47.2744295!4d-122.3110664 which looks "okay"..Just has a Wooden Coaster and one identical to Sea Viper. I've never been. Vancouver has Playland, which I have been to, but I didn't take any pics or add it do the Database! It's also alright, has a really well maintained classic Woodie called "Coaster", and a ride called "Corkscrew" which appeared in Final Destination, plus a bunch of flats like a starflyer etc. I think I only visited for an hour or two.

DOOMSDAY DESTROYER PUT IT IN A NEW LOCATION IN MOVIE WORLD
It is not practical to relocate a ride so soon after opening. So much of the cost goes into concrete foundations and pits, and all the other equipment around the ride.

There's always Motocoaster if you want a ride without constant forces 🤣 The helix-o-death looks cool... Always an awesome on hypers if there is a bit of speed.- Review Requests
Haha, I don't think either of those things are in the database or review system, but Slicks post has prompted me to start another thread I've been meaning to.- The Best Rollercoaster in the world
Hey what did you think of X2?- The Best Rollercoaster in the world
Youre gonna hate me push...Here's a review I posted on here about 10 years ago: At Blackpool, I liked probably liked other coasters there better.... Steeplechase (Because it is so unique and risky feeling), Avalanche (Bobsled coasters are fun, pace well because they get faster), Grand National (Racing the other train creates a great atmosphere, and there's great airtime)- DC Rivals HyperCoaster construction discussion
No, they're not. A clone is when a layout is pretty much a straight copy...For example Buzzsaw, Arkham, Storm Coaster, Roadrunner, Bug Run. Using similar elements is not the definition of a clone, because obviously every manufacturer has their house style and a certain way of designing each element that works for them. Trying to say using similar elements constitutes cloning is like saying the different sizedd models on offer by a car manufacturer are clones because they often share a family face and design cues, and share parts, engines etc. And B&M hypers most certainly don't all have the same turnaround element, nor are all of them even out and back! Nothing built so far matches Lewas Flash, not even the direction the turnaround is taken in, therefore not a clone.- DC Rivals HyperCoaster construction discussion

Outside of the RMCs, Nemesis and Tatsu both deserve mentions too.- Top 10 Bucket-list Coasters
In no order Taron Black Mamba Piraten Expedition GeForce Dragon Kahn Helix Blue Fire Wildfire T - Express Flying Dinosaur Three honourable mentions would be Parrot Coaster, Grizzly Mountain Mine Train, and Formula Rossa.- The Best Rollercoaster in the world
Lightning Rod for me. Twisted Colossus gets an honourable mention, but Lightning Rod is just in front....The things which made it great. -Nicely themed queue. -Uphill launch. -Super steep and scary first drop. -Great use of terrain, with most of the ride hidden from the rest of the park over a hill in another valley, and further to that, lots of intact trees. -Ballistic pacing, it never slows down. -Crazy twists and banking that look almost impossible, but negotiated effortlessly. -Airtime -Plus even more airtime at the end with the quad down, with each bit of air getting stronger and stronger. -Smooth. Of the ones I haven't ridden, Helix at Liseberg looks to be the best. And of course the new MW coaster is looking pretty special at the moment too, considering its only the far end of the ride which has gone up.- Review Requests
Its cool because its just so bloody big, so theres almost a sense of escapism because of how far you travel. But as a coaster, it is very drawn out as a result, so you go fast, but don't feel like you are doing a whole lot...See 3:00 to 4:15 to see what i mean....It's almost like the wooden equivalent of a Japanese 'jet coaster'.
