For the impatient, all hands on deck but not much big structure change

The theming looks amazing, the coaster looks like its apart of the structure rather then stuff just built around a coaster, Seems fairly tame for a flying coaster but I think the tight layout and close fly bye's would more then make up for it

Leviathan has the potential to be almost an instant icon, wooden coaster on the beach in Australia. When I think iconic I think, wipeout or bounty’s revenge really unique rides to Oz. Superman with its picture ops as you enter movie world, Iconic is the thing that pops in your head when you think of that park or that state or country, Sea world it’s the corkscrew going over the monorail. I guess it will be in the top 3 woodies in Oz at least ?? 😀 I've ridden my fair share of woodies new and old. I for one can't wait the layout looks good and there's not many backwards wood coasters to experience and we'll have it in our own backyard

that ride was so much smoother in Sydney then the now cyclone/sidewinder at Dreamworld, I could never understand how one buys a unit overlooking a theme park with iconic views only to complain about the noise

Can confirm there are fountains under the ride, they normally have them on during the day and can be seen, hoping like other topspins the fountains will go with the ride experience and shoot up with the ride.

My golden years was early-mid 90's Australia's Wonderland just opened the demon, space probe 7 was next, the park was still alive with characters the gardens maintained and all the rides were in their correct location, the bush beast was a monster and the Zodiac was the coolest scariest Ferris wheel around, the wizards fury screams could still be heard and riding the HMS endeavour standing up and not holding on was the thing to do. I am 38 tho so remembering back that far its probably a bit fuzzy

yogi bear was terrible, I was excited for it and went in with my son who loves yogi, but even he was bored half way through, no spoiler alerts here its like watching the highlights reel of the movie. Nothing new or different made just for 4d I left disappointed

It’s finally happening the first lot of timber is being bolted together. There’s also a time lapse camera been put in place excited to see a woodie being built in Oz

Timber piles have now been moved out on to the slab. Hoping this may be a sign things are about to start moving

Great idea for SeaWorld. The idea being that when fright nights returns it will be for the teens and adults and spooky nights is the family kiddie friendly version. No scary mazes but lots of spooky sights and activities

cost would be quite high to pay some engineers to sit in a room for 2 weeks plus pay the quarantine expenses to get a ride open in a park thats far from being busy, On a plus side tho there's been some site surveying happening on the slab for Leviathan so hopefully thats still moving forward, can't wait to see to timber go up.

rumour mill is that the back of the island shed is in for a makeover with the new ride opening, but will wait and see if it does or not, interesting to see what they do with it

Its funny reading all this when 2 months ago when they were open and they were only allowed 500 people gatherings outside and everyone was up in arms about how they can still be open with the limits and they should close immediately to now trying to work a way around opening back up when the limit is 20 people for gatherings, The saving grace maybe the job keeper payment meaning they can have staff there with out the added cost, they already have minimum staff there to look after the animals (SW, DW, Aus zoo, PC) but on the other hand is it really worth rushing to open back up with the limited crowds and most likely below par experience ( no shows, limited shows/attractions )and now receiving money from the government to ease the pressure takes a bit of the sting out of it. Anyways I'm putting my money on end of July if not later

theres been a fair bit of work done or vortex in the last 4 weeks and where leviathan is going, doesn't really look like their slowing down much at all really. They have a dam good excuse to cancel a lot of it yet it does appear to be piles of timber in the carpark altho I am going off the picture as dam covid-19 won't let me outta the house. Apparently staff have been advised not to expect the parks to be open till at least July 31st

I get the feeling the Atlantis theming will come in time, maybe about 10 years time when everything is overgrown it will look all nice and green and lost in Atlantis. Curious to know if they have already paid anything towards the coaster itself, last day there there was survey markers around the cleared landscape not sure what for tho, hoping they are already committed to it and its to late to postpone, really looking forward to a decent woodie in Australia again.
