If I still used it I would want it more flexible when building coasters (like no limits)

I recon dreamworld would of been better going for a real "thrill ride" but still has that "fun" factor. to give you an example of what I mean I made my vision for what the motocoaster should of been. Motocoaster track page there is a helix that extends over the water where the paddelboat dose travel through, all it would have to do is not go around the complete river circuit or the helix could be raised/redesigned Zane. -
This marketing gimmick has coaster geeks mentally unstable

Its already been done on a shuttle coaster called MR Freeze, it works exactly how you said. "One train loads and unloads on either the right or left side of the station while the other train is launched out onto the main track. When this train returns to the station, it slides to the unused side of the room and unloads as the other train slides to the middle and launches" (taken from wikipedia) -

Yer, I see that a lot too they think they know it all -
Dose anyone know whether the water jet is just a compressed air jet that is triggered underwater like maverick's and the hulk's or is it a water jet that uses a pump? I'm curious to find out what and how it works cause that's what I do lol. and has anyone got a chance to ride yet? I might be going this Friday so I will get some footage and pics, that's if I go Zane.

Hi all, Well this comp winner was really hard to pick, but after many re-rides I have found a winner: this winning coaster stood out from all the rest, it has a range of high speed and high banked turns. It has some great air time hills. the first drop was the element that won me over. overall it was smooth but thrilling ride! the winning coaster is Gazza's "Wild West Twister" congratulations. 2nd was "Wild West Quest which" was a creation from jcgoldcoast wild west quest was very very twisted and along with that brought roughness, but it was still thrilling. there are a couple pops of airtime in there. the thing that turned me off was the weird brake run which was taken REALLY slow as with the following track after it? but still very good work. 3rd coaster "Bandit" by ads086. this coaster was fairly smooth but had a long and kind of boring layout, it felt like it dragged on forever lol. what I liked about it was it was the only one which had something different about it, the lift hill, it's a LIM launched lift hill which I thought was pretty cool. good Thank you to gazza, ads and jcgoldcoast for submitting your weired and wonderfully creative Coasters. Zane.

I did a test in No Limits launching at 72km and the train flies over the first 7meter hill -
They could possibly look at putting it over the lake were the bridge is (next the pirate ship) or even filling the lake in? Zane.

I think this is part right and wrong, if anyone has seen superman's morning test runs the train flies around the track even though the train is empty and when it hits the brakes it stops a lot quicker because its inertia is less then a full train. also 10km is huge, 1km could make the difference of making it over the first hill on any launch coaster! I know Intamin gradually add speed to there launches when they test for the first time, this period can last up to a week or so. this is how they test all there launch coasters. superman's first couple of test runs were really slow the train hardly made it half way up the top hat! So yes lets just hope its a low speed test run Zane. -

Ok cool, someone should organise a meet-up on the opening day? it would be great ! Zane. -
I'm not entering my own competition (wouldn't that be stupid ), but this is what I done with the area. I built a Intamin Prefab Woodie. Its called Skedaddle and like Gazza's and Ads ones, it fits into the wild west part of the park (the station is where wild west area is) no_limits_comp_070920215619003.bmp Skedaddle.zip Zane.

Hi all, OK as you have probably read in the other topic the No Limits comp is going ahead the scenario is as follows: -you have been asked to design a coaster for movie world, it can be ether wood or steel. -This new coaster has to be thrilling, aimed at adults and teens. -The given area sits just behind lethal weapon, the area is approximately 333.50 meters in diameter -the park owners want a big "crowd drawer" The Rules: -The coaster HAS to fit within the marked perimeter -You are to use no other programmes except the coaster calculator to help build your track the station can be located anywhere within the perimeter You are allowed to terraform the area and add scenery. but remember, its not judged on the best scenery. Here is the track file: 1_no_limits_comp.zip The area: Area.zip the coaster calculator: click here Due date: 25 Sep 2007 once finished please Post it here if you have any questions just send me a message. Good Luck! Zane.

haha, thats what i was just thinking! yes i will do it that way.

OK, were going ahead with this comp, We have decided to have a scenario where you get a measured out area that fits into one of Australia's parks (Dream world, Movie world, Sea world, wet'n'wild and Whitewater world) and you build from there. E.G. this is just behind the lethal weapon, its a huge space with a perimeter of 333.50 meters (measued with google earth) Rules: -The coaster HAS to fit within the marked perimeter (which I will supply) -You are to use no other programmes except the coaster calculator to help build your track -try to give the smoothest ride possible (try to keep all the G's green) The coaster can be wood or steel I am not judging for the best scenery, I'm looking for the best coaster experience although scenery can enhance the ride experience. So there are only a few limitations, all the rest is up to your imagination.

The launch track as a whole is about 42 meters, but the train only uses 27 meters for the launch the rest is to slow the catch car (15 meters) -
Hi all, well its a age old question, who do you like better? INTAMIN are smooth (not always) fast, twisted and technology advanced, pushing the limits all the time as B&M are smooth (not always aka Mantis) comfortable and ruler of inversions well I'm not going to vote as they both offer different experience's between them, if you like starting a ride with a bang INTAMIN, or you fancy a smooth and inversion full coaster B&M. What is your Pick?

Yes, something similar to that, also your exhaustion through the days activities and usually your body's ready for rest because your body usual has a sleep/rest routine. So you could pretty much say its because your body's unprepared and not seeing anything just helps. what i said before, lethal weapon is so much better at night. Zane. -

Well there is a high possibility you will miss out but there is still a minority it might just be open, although it should be in full test runs by then so either way you will at least see launching and so on. As for the construction its still looks very un-rideable, the nitrogen storage tanks (no the actual launching accumulators, the tanks which the nitrogen comes in from the chemical supplier) are on site sitting on Crete. So just think of all the work they have to do if they haven't even stared to construct the accumulators (although all the tyre hoses and all are connected they still have to be connected to the accumulators, the list of "to do" thing go's on and on ) there is still the huge water tanks sitting in the middle ? I'm thinking they could be attached to the station building. the pull through carriage is tied up to the track at the first turn out of the launch and there is a wire "safety barrier" attached to the front off it as you can see. the guys were on the boom arm thing (cant think of the name?) inspecting the bolts were the supports join the track all day. So hopefully they get this thing up and running soon. Zane. -

Superman's better at day but lethal weapon is a whole new coaster at night, the G's felt so much stronger for some reason? -
