Counter-Strike

Featured Replies

I thought I'd beat Slick in posting the first Counter Strike topic (assuming he does play it... you do work at a net cafe, right?), so here it is. If anyone does play (CS, CZ or Source) please let me know so we can organise a little "r-c.com.au war" ;)

Oh i would have killed to have played that in school. Like a free netcafe with many friends.

Gee, only just read this one. Thanks alot Liam for beating me! As for CS, well, not a big fan now, I think that it is such a used game and the graphics really are of older heritage....... Me? I play doom 3 and FarCry, not to mention my list of games (anything recent). And yes, I do work at an internet cafe called Games Quadrant at alderly, Brisbane.

I play Doom 3 except am bored of it now. Is farcry a shooting game because I want it? I hope it isn't too hard on the old system resources like doom is.

I actually reckon that Far Cry is a much more stunning game than Doom 3 is, just had a smaller advertising budget than the people at Doom 3 did. Seriously, if you are looking for a new FPS for your computer, look no further than Farcry, such good gameplay indeed.

Excellent, does it have like missions and stuff or is just a multiplayer with bots type thing like BF and UT? I might just do a kazaa search on it right now although I will be highly doubtful of anyone having it.

No its main point is supposedly its single player, which is just excellent if you want some real gaming thrill, but its multiplayer certainly gives an edge over counter-strike. For me, Counterstrike is just overrated and way too old for it to be a number one title.

What a stroke of luck! I just asked my brother if he knows anyone at school that can burn it for me and what do you know, he is getting it tomorrow from some dude. Finally I can play a good action computer game again.
