Nürburgring race coaster

Featured Replies

I heard about that a while back...Personally I think it seems like a bit of a disappointment, it launches straight into a set of brakes, negotiates one element and then goes slowly back to the station...A coaster with the aim of breaking records, but not much else. No doubt the launch will be good though. Personally, I think the F1 coaster at the Ferrari experience in Dubai is far more promising, I think it is potentially taking the world record, but it actually has turns and airtime hills, so it will be exciting from start to finish. 217kph in a couple of seconds doesnt appeal to you? i give it a week before someone dies on it though

Umm, didn't I write:

Why would someone die on it though? All I'm saying is that the launch is the only good thing about the coaster at Nürburgring, But the coaster in Dubai does the launch, plus it has an actual high speed layout with airtime, so clearly it's better. PS, if you are after some pics of the finished ride, check out http://onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=28726&start=850 post-88-1245750721_thumb.jpg post-88-1245750741_thumb.jpg post-88-1245750756_thumb.jpg post-88-1245750768_thumb.jpg post-88-1245750780_thumb.jpg
