My friend was saying that this one is the only Twin Hammer operating in the world, now that the Malaysian one is gone. Maybe they got it cheap.

Just to clarify, last weekend they were telling us over the PA not to buckle the safety belt ourselves and that the op would do it. A bit unusual, but I did what I was told lol.

What about those restraints, there's a B & M hyper out there missing it's clamshell restraints lol. I haven't gone through the whole thread to see if it's been mentioned before, but the ops having to buckle up every seat belt isn't conducive to fast loads (I understand why, but maybe the restraint could have been a bit better designed).

^^It's all a bit of a laugh, at least he was grateful we spent a fortune at MW on Saturday LOL. I mean Star Tour, discounted Pit Pass, and Ultimate Terror Tour in one day - that's getting to Charlie Sheen's hookers and coke budget levels. I'm not seeing how this coaster/fountain can be anything, but mind blowing.

X2 is one of my faves, it's got so much intensity and is a complete mind f***. One of two big reasons to go to the mountain. Back on that big patch of dirt next to movie world (management tells my local friends it's just a fountain lol), any significant movements (other than in the worker's portaloo)?

^I hear you there from a business perspective. Parks have to cater to a spectrum of intensity thresholds. I still enjoy the lower threshold rides, even if I prefer more intense ones. I mean I even ride Jaguar! (always been intrigued by the exclamation mark) every Knott's visit, it's all fun. From a purely personal preference perspective, the more intense the better lol.

This is just awful, heart breaking for the families of those involved. Condolences. I'll leave it to the authorities and Dreamworld to disclose what happened.

^Yeah MW confirmed that for me on FB unfortunately. We were all challenging each other to do it on the weekend past, but we left it too late. Let's just say some of my friends are relieved it's sold out. I would have come back up from Sydney for a unique experience like that (and some more UTT).

I've been on a couple of wing coasters, they are very average in my opinion, pretty tame. What do we know? It's Mack (unless they put out some old Scooby Doo coaster boxes to throw us off lol - disclaimer: I am joking). It's taking up a sizable tract of land. Everything else: speculation. Hopefully it will be too hard to hide what it is in a couple of months. I'm looking forward to seeing this rise up.

I see the Williams Grove site is opening up for one night on Oct 31, that would be interesting.

I thought it was just an OK ride, much better on the end two seats (that was the only ride on it I started to feel nauseous). The precinct as a whole was pretty cool - it adds a really different flavour to the park. I hope they continue to develop it and add new rides/experiences.

^I'd say probably not too, but it would be cool. Let's see what happens. Now that I've seen the site with my own eyes, I'm so much more intrigued.

That Silverwood thing is on the site, but doesn't seem to let you book. Does anyone know if it's sold out or not happening? Did the UTT on Saturday (on top of the Star Tour and Pit Pass (discounted for Star Tour peeps), what a day), enjoyed it. I especially liked the Conjuring and thought Friday the 13th was improved. The other mazes were good too. The UTT extra experience was fun and something different to the other years - I preferred the previous years, but it was still good.

I really liked Silver Dollar City and thoroughly enjoyed Outlaw Run. The caves were so cool, even though it was partially flooded the day we went and couldn't go all the way down. Definitely a park to revisit.

I worked in the CBA buidling that went into the Sega Mega World site. I went there once on a Friday night, it was deserted. Unfortunately the coaster wasn't running that night. We and Wild Sydney might become an abandoned amusement park if things don't get better (disclaimer: just tongue in cheek speculation on my part).

Duelling might be a possibility given the size of the site, though what looks like the return run to the station is fairly narrow. I wonder if it might challenge for longest coaster?

@Santa07 Definitely no sarcasm, I honestly wouldn't know if someone on here was one of the hosts. My friends pointed out the aforementioned parkz member, I would have had no idea. After seeing that site, the coaster could be anything.

They were very good, were you one of them? ^^Lol dude, I would have taken a swag of pics if they allowed photography up there. ^Theme Park Ninja, we saw you having a crack with the hammer in Villians, my friends know who you are.

I saw the site today in real life for the first time (from the top of Arkham), f*** it's huge.

Just make sure that chicken soup is churro flavoured. I must say the one Mack e-motion coaster I've been on was not an emotional experience. Hopefully Mack are doing this bespoke and it will be an original.

^My bad, I've ridden both many times lol, I shouldn't post early morning. Probably what I meant to say is full circuit, non-one trick pony (and I'm not counting the hump on Kingda Ka as a second trick), full circuit coaster. I'll be interested to see if the polar coaster happens, I haven't checked on that project for a while.

^It looks like the roller coaster equivalent of a centrifuge. I wouldn't have a problem riding it, front row or otherwise.

I also note the Silverwood thing on the 29th is back.
