  1. It was only the other week the door trim change was picked up. The way the mountain has been cut into and left exposed should now stop any asbestos being in the mountain talk.
  2. While they are at it they might as well keep going and remove Viking Revenge. If they aren't going with a new attraction this year they need to hire some carnival rides for the January holiday period. Have the numbers always been on the slide? The delay of the removal might have been because Sea World were waiting on someone to purchase it.
  3. I do agree that the fence might be for storage while they remove the slides. Village did say in their latest trading update the new "Attractions" and not the new “Attraction” was going to get them out of the hole. Another thought is if Village have no money, why are they spending money on the removal of the slides when it would not hurt them to leave them up for another year.
  4. The demolishing of the water slides has finally started. The question to be answered is why have they fenced off the car park????????? Thank your TPSN for the photos.
  5. @Richard I have nothing now. I thought the removal of the post was part of a larger conspiracy theory. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I never watched Suicide Squad but is Harley Quinn the major character of the movie or is she the poster child because she is easy on the eyes? It’s interesting how many people think MW will theme this coaster around a lesser known character.
  6. Interesting @Glubbo that you are speculating the coaster will be themed around Harley Quinn now.
  7. What are you saying? Is my daily salt intake inadequate?
  8. Kids this is why you shouldn't drink.
  9. This piece of track and support are new today. Thank you for the photos. @themagician That next connection looks good.
  10. I didn't stop because I had the little one in the car. It did look like one more piece was up and they were about to do another lift.
  11. I drove past an hour ago and they were working @Brad2912 on the turn around.
  12. When I think of Ardent & DW I think of 3 things. 1. Since Ardent acquired Dreamworld it has been a Robin Hood venture. 2. Ardents investments into DW has always taken the minimalist approach. 3. You can only squeeze so much juice from one orange. As an enthusiast, I’m always wanting the most out of our parks and after a few years of Ardent controlling Dreamworld I came to the realisation, Dreamworld would never deliver me a decent coaster. For this reason, for many years I have wanted Ardent to sell DW. I might now finally get my wish but looking at the current buyers I am very apprehensive for this to happen.
  13. @ads086 I grabbed the next photo in google for you since you are talking about the old 4 across train.
  14. What Arrow 4d Coaster are you talking about? The earlier large 4d coasters all the compact 4d coaster?
  15. Is this the same situations @pushbutton? Nobody do what I just did and watch the Parque Warner Police Academy Stunt show because it just makes you said.
  16. @Theme Park Girl I also read an editorial back in March about Garry Weiss buying shares. "Share raider Garry Weiss purchased up about 5 per cent of the company's stock back in March as a possible prelude to forcing board and management changes." "Garry Weiss is known to buy a strategic stake and purge the board and management as part of a strategy to lift performance and the company's share price." Garry Weiss removing Deborah Thomas may be the easiest way to increase share prices.
  17. The Australian ran this headline last October. Ardent Leisure headed for split after Dreamworld tragedy
  18. Yes Brad. A few companies might think it's a good time to make a play for DW.
  19. Somgcheng was the company talking about Legendary Kingdom at Nerang last year. I still don't think that was a traditional theme park and I think the word theme park get thrown around too easily.
  20. I do like the Intamin track when it has 4 rails but when it reduces to 3 or 2 rails not so much. The Mack track looks like a cheaper knockoff of Intamin. For me at the moment the sexy track award would go to the hybrid track. I like the roughness of the matchstick constructed supports with the sleek modern track. @AllegroCrab I didn't say you can't upload it. I don't make the rules.
  21. I don’t understand people uploading a video of a B&M coaster and say it is comparable to a Mack coaster. Why can't people just say it's 98 metres longer than Mack Rides other Hyper Coaster. Talking about one ride and putting up a video of another is something the Gold Coast Bulletin does.
  22. They are using the same white crane in the car park that was used last week during the instalment of the first element. The smaller more mobile crane previous purposed for this job is installing the track near the brake run. I’m taking a guess here that it would be easier for the smaller crane to get to the back of the coaster. The total track length is 1370m and my prediction was we will see “at least” 137 pieces of track because I believe Mack Rides track segments don't exceed 10m for shipping reasons. (This does not include the track to the maintenance bay).
  23. That's 450m approx. away from the first element that went up. I think it would be better to talk about the current element being built. New supports have been going up today at the turn around location.
