Gold Coast city planning committee meet again next Wednesday. No agenda has come out for the meeting yet but we should see one soon. If the Car Park is not on the agenda, it will be another 3 weeks before this committee meet again. The committee meetings are not broadcasted so it will take a couple of days before the committee notes will be available to the public. The notes will indicate which way the council should vote at the next council meeting.

I have had way too many drink in my life for DW to allow me to rely on my own imagination.

DREAMWORLD FEBRUARY TRADING UPDATE Ardent Leisure Group (ASX: AAD) today provides a trading update for the Theme Parks division to the market_ During the month of February 2017,the Theme Parks division recorded unaudited revenues of $4.4 million, down 35.0% on revenues of $6.78 million recorded in the prior corresponding period. This represents an improving trend against December 2016 and January 2017 which respectively recorded reductions in revenues of 63.0% and 50.4% in the prior corresponding periods. As the park continues its return to normal trading it will be supported by the launch of a new brand campaign featuring the song "Pure Imagination" performed by Guy Sebastian and supported by the Yugambeh Youth Choir. Trading updates for the Theme Parks division will continue to be released until the end of the current financial year.

Totally off topic but does anybody else think this screams Jungle Cruise. Jungle Cruise like ride for the current swamp. If DW was to do this for real, I would support it. So, my post isn't totally irrelevant. You both make good points.

How long should it take? This line of thinking happens to me all the time. I have clients ringing me up wanting to go ahead with a job and they try and tell me how long it will take. I tell them all the same thing. “This is not KFC, I’m not sitting at the front counter waiting for you to place an order. I have 3 months of work sitting in front of me before I can even get to your job. Plus, I must squeeze in my Parkz gossip throughout the day”.

That was the date they were going for. Maybe they are waiting to advertise once they know for sure what date they will open.

They would never be allowed to put a screen up at the spit. I can understand if you take people to a shop that was used in the film. I would put my money on nobody could pick the spit in any film that was filmed there. I would pay to see the wharf set below for The Chronicles of Narnia that was filmed at the spit but I would not pay to see grass, rocks and water.

I don't get this tour @Brad2912 it's a whole tour of saying this was filmed here but nothing remains to see.

This temp roof structure is a standard thing on construction sites now. I currently have a new warehouse going up in Northern NSW and look what we are using. Once this is finished the roof will be removed and reassembled on the next job site. I am prepared to say the most the containers would have in them would be tools. In saying that I believe them to be empty. Once the coaster arrives at the shipyard they will not deliver it in bits and pieces. The shipyard doesn’t like to hold anything and as soon as it clears customs it will be moved on. @Theme Park Girl can we get a zoomed in photo of the locks. If it has a seal on it: They have come on a ship. If it has a padlock on it: They will have tools in it. If it has nothing on it: They will be empty. Hold that thought @Theme Park Girl found a close up.

The screen should be finished now so it would be good to see. It was also good to see the two UFO's doing an update for the Daily Planet.
