I just came back from Brisbane and did a quick drive-by. Electrical now being roughed in. A trench now follows inside of the fence line from GL all the to the site sheds. It's a no brainer this will be to power the fence lights. Pop question. If the lights on the fence are finished within the next few weeks do you turn them on before the coaster opens? Next question is: Will the lights be green matching the current GL fence lights or will they be a different colour to match the new coaster? I still don't know if the electrical roughing in has anything to do with the JL & BW being shut. If the power is coming from that area and we now have electricians on site it could be the case. If they are roughing in the ride as well as the fence it could be a little while longer before they are ready to receive the track.

@AlexB I can't remember it being kept in Perspex but I am always wrong. Don't give the people the wrong idea though when you say scale model. I recall the scale model was the size of a car. Which means @MaxxTheMonster got the same as me. We don't know what ship it is on. A Chinese ship could load up in Germany, unload what it has too in China. Load up again in China and travel to Australia to unload. All along caring the coaster it picked up at the start. The coaster could also travel across Europe via trucks before being shipped to Australia from another country. In theory, you could even truck it from Germany to China but this would not be likely. We also have the possibility that the coaster is not being manufactured in Germany.

My conclusion is it was a waste of an hour I will never get back.

I think you will find this is not a ground slab but is a stack of tilt-up-walls being constructed on site. The tilt-up panels are retaining walls. Just over 9000 cubic metres of soil will be imported to raise and level the site. In trucking terms 900 loads of soil will be imported if using truck shown. From the fake news last night. The group wants to protest during the Commonwealth games. During the com games a no fly zone over the Gold Coast will be put into place. During a large events like the Commonwealth Games they set up an area you can protest at. I would think this in a dark corner somewhere. If you protest anywhere else or are not registered to protest they will not allow you to protest during the games.

I thought every property a plane flew over would be private property.

How do you know a new location for a transformer is not in a place a guest can't see or get close? The relocation of the transformer was just an idea. Do you not think MW would put a new transformer in a location where guest could go near it?

It could be the location of the transformer/switchboard needs to be relocated.

I don't know how coasters are shipped but not all containers are the same. Enclosed containers are made so you can drive into them with a forklift. We must be getting to the important stuff now we're talking containers. Do you believe what you say or do you just make it up as you go?

Considering Tweety Cages maintenance has been shown for a while and goes down in May it is a little strange this was posted only last night for Monday.

It could also have something to do with them rerouting power to the new coaster.

Because MW would never shut down 2 rides at the same time.

I'm stabbing in the dark here but I believe this has something to do with the new coaster area.
