  1. The GL would be a great spot to set up a web cam looking down the main straight of the coaster during construction. The new signs acting like a boarder.
  2. If they end up out near the front road, I give it days.
  3. The best way to answer you is paste what Richard said in his update. " These straight sections feature side brackets that will likely support a catwalk along the ride's final brake run. There are also mounting brackets for fixed magnetic brakes on the top of the right section of track. The left section meanwhile has an indent that will likely create room for friction brakes."
  4. Another Skeet theory is this is only set up for the announcement photos or advertising. This might not even be the toppers they will have when the coaster goes up. Picture this, the bosses of MW standing here talking about the new coaster coming.
  5. There is people in this topic seriously suggesting "Pirates of the Carribean"
  6. From my memory a few shareholders were not pleased with her being appointed in the first place.
  7. Right now when you read the name of this topic is does not reflect what @pushbutton wanted to talk about. I'm not having a go at ParkChat either. I think they made the right move changing from a theme park site to a light-hearted chat show but I do cringe sometimes with some of the things they say. Going to a couple of parks in America does not make you an expert.
  8. They weren't looking at toppers. They only had the one. From that time, they have added the Village one. They also had a neon light that they were playing with which they haven't added. This might be the finial layout but they have been playing around with it over the last month. Question, what part will light up? I'm looking for the light everywhere. STOLEN photo alert. TPSN credit.
  9. I absolutely don't like this line of thinking. ParkChatLive was doing it last week. They have a segment that goes something like you have unlimited money and you can do whatever you want to an Australian park. The other week they turned Dreamworld into Disney. Last week the turned Sea World into California Adventure Park. I believe Movie World is there next episode and going by their track record Movie World will become Universal Studios. I, for one once would like somebody to come up with an idea that is not a copy. What’s going to make Australian parks great is if they are different from any other theme park around the world. Give somebody a reason to fly from another country to visit.
  10. I thought if you are going to advertise village as you enter the park you would be better off adding SW & WnW signs along the fence tops as well.
  11. I generally follow a few peoples' lead in Parkz. If they are saying it, I wouldn't be man enough to go against them.
  12. @themagician You should have stuck this photo up too. This photo is by @themagician Considering they have stopped installing any more @Santa07 I am still going with my idea of they are still deciding which way to go or they wanted to see them side by side before they gave them the go ahead.
  13. Interesting the new Warner Bros. is going down the DC Comics route too. "Slated for a 2018 opening on Yas Island, the 1.65 million-square-foot Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will offer 29 as-yet-unannounced attractions across five themed lands, all featuring Warner Bros. animated franchises, including """DC Comics""", Hanna-Barbera, and Looney Tunes." I believe VR are running DC Comics not because it is cheaper to buy one license off Warner Bros. (but it does help) It’s because that is what everybody is watching and what is making the most money for Warner Bros. And the reason why he will not be the theme. That's ok if your into comics but MW isn't going to theme a ride around somebody who reads comics.
  14. Batman will not be happy with that. Maybe it's MW plan for us to advertise it for them. The more we talk about it increases the chances papers like the bulletin will run an article on it and it doesn’t cost MW a cent.
  15. The coaster is no Arkham Asylum and the general nature of a Hyper coaster means accessibility is not going to be a huge problem anywhere on site.
  16. And all this time, I thought TPSN was connected......................................................... I'm sure @Richard will put up the latest Village results so I won't double post it. I just wanted to draw people’s attention to the invisible marketing campaign for the new coaster. "VRL firmly believes that the Theme Parks division will return to normal levels over time following key marketing campaigns and the introduction of new attractions." I willing to call Village out on their non-marketing campaign as the biggest balls up of the year.
  17. Unless they are running the Village and Warner Bros. signs alternative I’m thinking they have put them up side by side to compare then to each other. If this is the case I hope they go with Warner Bros. sign.
  18. I believe the MW sign is the new fence post light. @Reanimated35 even a good picture it is hard to see. I think it would be a mistake to use the sign to help guess the name of the coaster.
  19. The supports you have circled are not new. No work is happening today. Looks like we get the weekend off.
  20. We have a topic where you can discuss people's design. I think most people got this section right in @Richard comp.
  21. Even with an announcement I doubt you will be told a layout. You might learn what they are going to call it but would you really care if they called it The Pink Poodle?
  22. I'm assuming the track on the right is the crowning piece we have been talking about. Do we have some Mack royalty in the house?
  23. Don't be offended @djrappa was too busy waving to TPSN
  24. Sorry in case people don't know it's dark at night and it makes it hard to see. The gangway I mentioned has turned out to be stairs. Photo stolen from the real TSPN
