  1. I think the problem is what do you do when you get off ST. A poor man's coaster? Spin a spew? What's stopping you from leaving the park besides ST. The most time I spend in DW is a couple of hours and that wasn't the case in the past.
  2. Giant Drop Steel Taipan. All lone soldiers.
  3. Just because Mickey said he was all ears, doesn't mean he wanted to know about your yeast infection.🤦‍♀️ 1060sqm of solar panels.
  4. Where can I buy my Indiana Jones whip from?
  5. Sometimes DW make announcements just to make an announcement because Village made one. Village: “We are building a hotel” DW: “We want to build a hotel too” Is there a reason for DW to tell us they are taking away what people love about tiger island? Because the negative reaction I have seen online is not what you want when you are promoting your future. This tiger announcement feels like Wipeout shade sails all over again.
  6. How many Vintage cars are left? The most I've seen on track these days is around 4-5.
  7. But who is media puffing? If DW is doing it, I'll lead the fight, but I have seen no statement from DW telling me they are building Indiana Jones 2.0.
  8. You're scraping at the bottom of the barrel now if that is the best you have with hanging shit on DW.😂
  9. No need to close it down and the hassle of relocating the animals. With DW's newfound attitude towards tigers, DW will be allowing tigers to roam the park for nature to take its course.
  10. Where are they going to put 2000 solar panels? I have 20 panels on my roof, and it covers half the roof.
  11. DW are understating the overall price or overstating the spend on each attraction because the maths doesn’t add up. $35m for coaster + 15 m for rebranding the kids area leave nothing left for everything else DW has promised. Tiger Island? Dreamworld Flyer? Vintage Cars? Gut feeling is $35m for coaster and $15m for everything else.
  12. You don't think people will notice the difference between a ride-on mower and bumper car?
  13. It's funny having a discussion on how shit the electric cars are over petrol cars and we don't know what we are getting. 🤣
  14. I'm learning towards gender-neutral over old mate.
  15. You don't think the same people who want to stop interaction want tigers in captivity full stop? More to it here than DW is telling us.
  16. DW is in a no-win situation here. DW could have said we are closing the Vintage cars and opening a new car ride, but all the golden year people would be crying. Side note: I'm sick of hearing about the golden years. It's like seeing your grandad and him telling you about the past. I went DW in the 80’s and the Thunderbolt sucked, but I didn’t know that because we had nothing to compare it too. In fact, a good 50% of the rides sucked.
  17. Would you start playing around with this stuff when your last set up killed 4 people?
  18. Was it mentioned on what will be replacing the Madagascar Live Show? That brings me to another point. What will DW do with the removal of the Dreamworks characters?
  19. In this concept a building is shown which I'm assuming is the current restaurant.
  20. This is from a Facebook page, I'm not allowed to mention but that have sought further clarification from DW. “Tigers are an incredibly important element of the Dreamworld experience, first being introduced in 1995, offering a unique experience in which handlers interact directly with tigers. Having undergone significant review and consideration, in 12 – 18 months, Dreamworld’s Tiger Island will transition to an environment in which tigers and handlers do not interact directly. Dreamworld’s Tiger Island remains committed to providing the best possible care for the welfare of their tigers and will work closely with both our expert team and external specialists to ensure a smooth transition. An accredited member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association Australasia (ZAA), Dreamworld’s transition keeps pace with developments in animal welfare science and aims to meet community expectations in relation to caring for exotic animals. Tiger Island remains a critical part of the experience at Dreamworld, and guests will continue seeing tigers on exhibit into the future. Educational presentations about the importance of tiger conservation will also continue to take place, and the business will continue investing in Tiger Island. Dreamworld remains committed to conservation and makes meaningful change via the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation, which has supported tiger conservation projects in the field via Wildcats Conservation Alliance. “
