Haha, I've gotten off both the Reef Diver (the Enterprise, back then) and the Redback at Aussie World dry reaching and almost ready to puke. Not a pleasant experience for either! And not a fan of the Claw, only been on it the one time and I hated it - every time it hit peak swing (that moment when you feel weightless) it would make me shake uncontrollably. I have the same thing happen when hitting the highest point of the ToTII before it starts dropping. I hate the sensation, it's really uncomfortable ?? Must be a getting old thing, as it didn't happen when I was in my teen years ? My concern is that the Doomsday is gonna be just like the Claw. I'll probably ride DD once to tick it off my bucket list, but that will be about it. Unless I'm wrong and it's nothing like the others lol?

Bahahaha! Whoops... ??? Make that 5 coasters ? PS. Can you really blame me for forgetting the MDMC, though? ?

They said it would be a stand alone outlet? So that means it wouldn't be attached to, or extended from, anything else. -
Actually you'll find that the other two are technically classified as rollercoasters as well, just not your traditional type. There's all different kinds

Dreamworld has three coasters - the Buzzsaw and Tower of Terror II as well. Both of them are pretty intense thrill wise, whilst Hot Wheels SW offers your more traditional coaster experience

Ditto. Personally not a fan of spin and spews. Haven't been on the Pandemonium for the same reason, despite it being the only Big9 I haven't done! Just doesn't look visually appealing to me in the slightest ? Wipeout is the only one I'll really tolerate, and that's because it's not consistently spinning, unlike some of its brothers and sisters.

Don't think so, since you don't need to be 18 to enter the event. It's just not recommended for under 14's. But don't quote me on that! Might be worth calling them to ask -

Yep, the external ride audio now has Jack Darke narrative added Got quite a surprise today when hubby & I got out of our car at the same time as a regular Buzzsaw ride cycle began, and heard unfamiliar sinister, evil sounding voice comments out loud as it was running. The first one I heard was "I told you not to come here!", and there were two or three others as well. Was a fairly exciting moment, as it was all very unexpected lol We wandered straight in and over to the ride to check it out. Tried recording a video of the new speech effects, but they were difficult to hear over the miscellaneous pop music playing from the Buzzsaw barn The existing saw spinning sound effects during the ride cycles were also a lot louder than normal, too. I'll post it anyway, if you guys want to have a listen and see if you can hear it: I hoped to hear (and maybe try recording) the Jack Darke narrative again when we went back out to the car park around 1pm'ish, as we heard it a lot clearer from there earlier on. But unfortunately by that time they had turned the ride audio off. I'll try again next time, hopefully they will have it going again -

I understand Ash, I feel the same way. Its a combination of both unexpected shock (Dreamworld kept this intent fairly under wraps) and witnessing the demise of a 35 year old building which forms many of my childhood memories of Dreamworld. As a kid I recall excitedly pulling up in the carpark in the morning with my parents and seeing that long standing iconic view of the entrance building, stretching all the way over to the familiar green barnhouse exit ❤️ It's sad to know that view will never be the same again. Brad's right though, most of the inside of it has been underutilised for a long time now. From what I remember of late, there was a showbag stand that was always closed, and a Crispy Creme Donuts outlet which was frequently unmanned. I think the fast food outlet and the exit booth were the only two things inside still being fully used. I'm sure I'll get over it eventually, especially as new things emerge in its place. At least I hope I do ? I just need my time to mourn over this loss lol... -

I can also confirm now that this is apparently going to be the relocation of First Aid, since the existing outlet inside the Marketplace is currently being knocked to the ground. -

*speechless* ??? More of Dreamworld's heritage gone.... very sad about this drastic decision on their part. Can't say I saw this one coming, as far as I had heard/been aware, they were utilising the existing building ? -

Drove past it this morning. Nothing new to report. Fairly dormant atm in regards to activity, but I'm sure that will change in coming months ☺️? -

Pretty sure @ash.1111 (and presumably his +3) isn't/aren't coming that evening now, he had to reschedule as he had something important come up on the same evening. -
@AlexB you'll be happy to know that Greg mentioned if the Star Tours are popular with guests, they intend to explore more options to add to them and make them even bigger and better, especially as the park expands over future years. There's a lot of potential for something like this. So I wouldn't cross any possibilities off the list ? There was a lot of pun about the Batwing tower being the next climb, hahaha ?

Don't forget that they have to pay wages to the three staff (2x tour hosts, 1x photographer) that look after the group as well... the photographer is there on demand to take the character group photos. In our case, she also came with us through the Justice League track walk too, taking photos - although it's unknown what the purpose of these were for, we haven't seen them since they were taken. However the two hosts/guides are by your side 24/7 for the entire 5 hours of the tour to present it in the best way possible, and cater for your every need. So they definitely come as an expenditure for MW as well. Even more evidence as to why this tour is such great value ☺️?

You'll love this, then... the mobile pokemon merch stand in the first pic has now been relocated near the entrance. Let the speculation begin ? Last week: Today: November ?
