Well, if that's the case, why would it be at the back and to the right hand side? I mean, where Kids' WB! is, there's already a wall just a few metres shorter.

I thought the bit about it going both ways was very funny. The ground doesn't really like like it's going to be water, does it? -
I went in today and spoke to a few staff members, and the walls are there to stay. Also, the walls are on every side of it, even at the back, so they're not just there to hide things out. I'm guessing noise. Don't forget, they're bolted into place so there's no way they can just remove them after the thing is built. I have pictures if anyone wants to see.

Ah ok then. How long are the ride cycles? Do the lines go down pretty quickly?
-
Ah ok - Isn't it damn silly that WVTP don't invite websites. Do big sites like GoldCoast.com.au get invites, does anyone know?
-
Was the media call and annual pass holder preview incorporated into the same event? In any case, did Parkz get an invite?

Just so you know, MDMC has two separate load/unload areas. As for water, wouldn't we have seen some kind of ground work already starting? I mean, the ground level is not dug deeper in the main area, although up the back (where the rocks are) does seem atad lower. IMO it looks like the rocks will be the only theming up there. I don't know... only time will tell I guess. -
Hmm... I still believe the walls are there to stay. Even if there's going to be no roof. Firstly, why pay someone to redraw a park map with the walls in place when you can just white out the area? And the walls aren't just placed on the map, but they are drawn with such detail, which leads me to believe they are here to stay. Just my 2 cents...

What's so secretive about the site? I mean, seriously, I can see in just fine with the cutouts in the walls.
-
IMO, the roof is too damn low and it will just look silly. I do hope they do re-theme around where the train was - it would look good.

Went to Movie World today. Take a look at the map.

I think the newer paint job is would be more well known.

For all we know they might have designed the water to leak there to reduce weight in other areas from building up during heavy downpour? Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that wouldn't be a bad idea. How dark is it in real life? From the photos it looks dark but maybe that could have just been the position of the camera to the sun or something?

Yeah, I went to countless camera stores before I made the purchase. As per the point of the point in the thread - I think it's good to hear people's personal feedback if they've had the product. More like what's happening in this thread. Anyways, back on topic -- I asked around and apparently PS2 are bringing out some new games next year just for their platform. Does anyone know if they'll be a good range of FPS'ers coming out?
-
I am still happy with my D40 thank you very much. Yes I might upgrade but that doesn't mean I got the wrong thing in the first place. I am happy with all info given but you must understand that I cannot base a major purchase like a camera (or gaming system) on one forum. That's just silly! Alex, you need to get over things or you will have a very short and unhappy life. I think you are mostly pissed because you supplied a half-page summary of what's best (in your opinion) and I didn't listen to you. Question - is anyone else pissed about this or just Alex?
-
Hmm... ok, bring that up if you must, but I only got the D40 because I was told to buy it from mannnny people outside this forum. Must you always bring that up? You must understand that opinions stated in this forum are not the definitive answer. I think I'm aloud advice from other places too before buying an item, Aye?

Wow, tough move of WVTP. I'm glad they aren't like that anymore. Could you image how different this site would be if that policy was still in place. And also what a nightmare it would have been for WVTP to enforce - which I am sure was one of the reasons to ditch it. Thanks for that info Gaz. Now... back on topic: I would be interested to know how well this roof would keep out rain. How thick is it? I'm guess it would have to keep out the rain to some extent otherwise it's just an expensive sun shade... Also, what are the acoustics like now?

What did MW do with the photos?

... If that is really him.

Disney - It's a Spaceworld after all.
-
Maybe this year will feature the lights Gazza posted sticking out of the windows down Main Street? Gee, wouldn't that be an all-so-scary halloween
-
Hmmm... It's a big ask (money wise), and without looking through the plans I cannot say all too much. I think with that kind of money though a good park can be built. Not Disney quality, but hey, who cares? Have you found any extra information about this project? (websites, etc.) Oh, and glad to see you posting again!

FPS'ers and online game play is what I mostly want.

PS3, xBox 360 or stick with my PC? What's the smartest choice?
