I just wish it was going to launch a little faster than 70km. Oh well I still can't wait to see the finished product!!! The themeing will be great. The ride will really put sea world back on the map

movie worlds night is very good I have been last two years. It may not be as good as american night but nothing is as good as here as American parks!!! Nor may it be as good as it could be, but it's only been going for three years it's going to be a while before it's nearly perfect. It's going to take time for this to happen three year is not a lot of time for this event and each year it's getting bigger and better also it doesn't have any compettetion if dreamworld did it, it would be a whole lot better!!!

Firstly only half of that made sense Secondly it's a theme park and suppose to make money. It's not a charity. Smart business men do it to make money. Every theme park is the same, including disney, because if they didn't we wouldn't get new rides. Thirdly I think the parks additions have been great they have really evolved and alot has always been mix matched. Besides it's got the same CEO john Menzies who is very knowledgeable and knows what's best for the park. I'm sorry to tell you but the park cannot stay the same way forever. Fourthly if you and doc brown hate movie world so much now don't go!!! And fifthly you really do seem like Doc brown! Sorry if your not, I apologize but you really do!!! And sixthly this discussion is now way off topic!!! Should this be split???

Marvin the Martian was nothing like Shrek 4-D, It never a pre-show, nor was the room before the theatre themed as cleverly as Shrek's. It did not have the amazing effects like the moving chairs, nor was the movie better than Shrek. Shrek is an amazing ride and is why it is one of the best 4-D rides in the world!!! Marvin The Martian didn't come anywhere Shrek, Shrek was defiently a worthwhile attraction!!! Don't get me wrong Marvin The Martian was very good especially in its old day I really enjoyed it. I can't really remember the story line, so don't criticiseme to hard as to how acurate this is anyone: but Daffy was a movie star and was angry at Bugs getting all the roles.... anyway he somehow ended up on mars fighting and trying to stop Marvin's plans to destroy earth... it worked but I can't really remember how it ended!!! Can anyone else remember the full stroy??? Anyway yes it was a good attraction but Shrek is hell of a lot better!!! After all this is a Universal attraction!!!

I drove past MW today and saw cars in the temporary area in the carpark practising, from what I saw it was two cars, one looked red, couldn't really, but could see them appearing to do stunts.

I would imagine a show would be a fair amoun to run, especially from movie world. One their major attraction shows are usually massive, PA, Shrek, all shows at SW. Then I would imagine all those lights that are used during the show would chew a fair bit of power, along with the air-conditionong with 1000 people in their. Then there's the maintence on props, costumes etc. I don't know exact pricing on each running a ride and a show but really they both have their pro's and con's and movie world just neeed to decide which one they want, or survey the public and see what they want, with a new being put in at the moment if they were developing it now a ride would probably be better.

It is defiently worth it and it sound's like there is more this year with the two mazes like Gazza said, a roof which will be decorated and Wild West Falls running, so this might be the reason, with more going on, they might need to charge extra, also how long is it going for this year??? I can't wait to go to it, also they know everyone goes to this event and have no problem attrcating guests and therefore realised they can't start charging extra and make more money and still have people go. But yeah I would defiantly reccommend going. Lucky me, I get heaps of free tickets for me and my friends. Gotta love being friends with Cadbury!!!

That's right ... Weren't they going to practice there while they were building the set. It sure will be a sight for people coming to the park to see glimpses of the stunt show!!!

I have a mixed reaction about this, I like it and think its great, but still there's somethng about that I just don't like and I can't put my finger on it. I think that it might be the trees gone, I use to love that about Main Street. Also with the other barricading around the right side of the car park, not where shelter stuff was kept but the opposite side, its fairly large and you can't see in, there doesn't seem to be anything in there. Does anyone know what's in there.

Over half the people i know bought tickets today, I can't go I have stuff on that night otherwise I would have gone to see Rihanna and Chris Brown as well!!!

I to used to be a decent one at my school. Everyone else had no idea what they were doing, they didn't even know how to use light jockey!!! Even though they had been taught numerous times, it was quite funny to watch them run events by themselves. I will be going, don't think i'll dress up this year, just don't feel like it. Also if its on the same dates as last year, the last night will be a Saturday, which is the only night I can go, alsoit will probably be the busiest, being Saturday. Although Chris brown and Rihanna are on the 31st and A LOT of people are going at least that I know of!!!

I can't wait. I get heaps of tickets from cadbury cause they sponsor it so i take heaps of friends, its the best night and i reckon mainstreet will be great this year. I hope they have more than 1 haunted maze this year and WWF open and not the number of break downs at the start of the night like last year, still can't wait.

I also have had the feeling sometimes and it makes this do do noise when it reaches its full at it feels as if the whole rides lifting up. But of all the times of been on it never seen it stop and the harness not come up. Seen someone throw up on it though. Though I have been on wipeout when it broke down it started stopped stayed for 10 minutes then came back down every one hasd to get off, waited another 10minutes tested it, then started it again.

From the description of the coaster it sounds like it will have very good theming, as expected from WVTP!!! But if that shrak attraction is replacing the eye then its not what I was led to believe it was, still very good!!!

I heard lately that dreamworld's been killing movie world with attendance numbers, with no stunt show and not as many rides as dreamworld, dreamworld been packed, while movieworld'd hardly seen a crowd!!! I went to movie world on a thursday a little while ago. Dead as a duck, most rides were basically walk on's no line to them at all, they had even shut down half the food stalls!!! It was also such a shame the trees had been cut down, they added so much atmosphere and really did gice it that magical feeling!!! While the next day, friday, i was at dreamworld, you couldn't move, it was packed!!! In fact it was the same day as the_muffler was there by the sounds, but I was on school holidays, had already been off for a week!!! Joys of being at a private school!!!

Meaning village would be involved, but if it did happen I don't Time Warner would be involved, Vilage would just use the licence of warner and if Village was involved, why would everything have have warner in front of it!!! I mean its really interesting, busch have sea world, a safari park, village want one and village used to involved with warner!!! It seems village have almost set themselves up to own busch as one roller coaster pro member stated If anybody were to take the theme parks, I think I'd be comfortable with Village Roadshow taking over... But even the selling of the theme parks is just speculation right now... I like Village Roadshow because they currently are doing a lot of what Busch already has. They own rights to the Sesame Street, they already have their own "Sea World" (notice the spacing), and they are currently in the works of developing an African themed park (with a savanna) with a dive machine similar to those of the Busch parks. __________________

From what I heard they were hoping that the ride would be open by the next lot of school holiday's!!! I just hope the weather isn't like this all through winter or it won't be open by then!!! Also from the look of the footers they look like their round, not sqaure like motocoaster's!!!

Just a question, which launch is worse, *Superman *Batwing *Tower of terror I can do batwing easy, but i did superman once and don't get me wrong I loved the ride, thought it was wonderful!!! But i didn't really like the launch, in fact hated it!!! I felt i couldn't breath!!! I don't know wether it was because it was the first launched thing I had been on!!! But it really freaked me out, and has put me off riding it even though i would really, really like to do it again, I'm just scared of the launch!!! So yeah just want to know which launch people think is worse!!!

I was at dreamworld on Tuesday and I did happen to see the ride testing!!! Look's good, they were also working on the queue!!! Fences are up, still look's to be some cosmetic stuff done on the ride, not looking to bad, it looks slow, but defiantly fun for little kids, let's hope they keep up kepp on this and should be good!!!

I think we can stop speculating that the dive coaster is at SW, the area the park is building the ride, I think is to small, SW don't go for huge rides like this, we have seen pics from mattcrombie with a boy sitting on a jetski for filming of the new ride, I was told by someone in the company of a jetski ride, staff were told and we were even told the name of the ride by mattcrombie. Its been stated before that its from Intamin and I think WVTP recently went to see the ride in germany in Switzerland where Intamin construct there rides. I think that's more than enough evidence to prove that SW is getting a jetski coaster and not a dive machine. I could believe MW getting one, has there been any clearing of land around there??? But then again they are already receieving a new attraction this year, also it seems very unlikely to me that MW would put in a dive coaster, then not long after have malbourne get one!!! In the concept art of Safari park we see a drawing of something like space shot, personally i think it could be a S&S drop tower, simply for copying reasons!!! Were not as big as America, if we copied rides, well why would melbourne people come to the GC for a coaster they already have, but if was a B&M flyer, then they would, same for GC people going to Melbourne!!! It only works in America because there so big!!! Therefore I just don't see that coaster as ours, there is speculation in America that there is dive coaster going in there, so that's where its probably headed!!! Can ask petestrash the photo Gazza showed, you said that's ours!!! Is it? How do you know that? Can I just ask how good's your source!!! Now if that is ours i'm thinking that it for Safari park and if doesn't go ahead it comes to us!!! I'm laying 10 bucks that there will only be one dive coaster in Australia and that's if it does come, it will be in Safari park!!!
