Sounds like you want them to build a wall and not a fence @MikeMac. Personally I find the Green Lantern fence to be visually nice. The roll before the final turn wouldn't be as good to look at with a horrible wall between you and the ride. I don't see the point in spending extra money on building an actual wall around the whole ride when a basic fence would be enough.

Have to agree with @joz in saying it is very generic and basic in look and feel compared with Pacific Wharf. The buildings in the new plaza whilst looking good in the photos just feel like they're missing something.

Noticed on the way into the car park yesterday markers being hammered in heading towards Green Lantern. This looks like it is going to be big whatever it is assuming those markers are for it. As shown in the photos by TPG they seem to have a bit of a gopher problem as there are quite a few holes and piles of dirt around the place especially in the front corner near the traffic lights. The overflow car park grass area has a heap of pipes and some holes being dug too alongside the exit road. I didn't get any photos but sure someone probably will over the weekend.

I got to 7 before it started getting too much and decided on a break. Found later in the day it seemed easier to handle on the outside seats and on the left side (as you board the ride).

Forces are of a level where leg kicking isn't really an issue unless you have long legs and hate the person opposite.

Don't really see the need for a lift hill and a launch. Looking at something like Flash it has more than enough speed and a launch would seem pointless and unnecessary.

If I am going to stop anywhere it is normally at the Maccas at Oxenford. Most people go to Helensvale so it is usually quieter there.

Agree with djrappa in saying Magic Mountain should be done if going via LAX. Next year I am looking at Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kentucky Kingdom and Holiday World as a start. Only thing I can really suggest is checking the operating schedule for the parks as some start to wind down the opening hours heading into September/October (Eg. Cedar Point moves to Friday - Sunday operation)

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom managed to do it just fine for the season pass preview day of The Joker. Attendant at the queue entrance as well as staff along the queue line plus I am sure there was an a-frame sign saying it was a passholder preview day only. Only real issues I saw was with hiring a locker as the kiosks were playing up. If you make everything clear then no one has any reason to complain and the day should run fine.

Slightly confused as to why an article 8 months old has been linked. As for the "now a carpark" might be where the old service station was. Seems the most logical place for it.

Pandamonium was a once and done for me. The side wards motion is too much for my liking. Can do Tailspin and Wipeout fine. This shouldn't be too much of an issue. Guessing it will be like one of those Larson Loops for experience.

Chinese company that has started building parks and looking to expand internationally. They also own a lot of cinemas (amc in the USA, Hoyts locally). If those three people were there before the other queue then I see no problem with it. They waited their turn. I would be one of the people in the soft style queue and would be annoyed if they let group after group of the other queue on. If you chose the longer queue then you chose to wait your turn.

Launching this weekend? Does that mean last weekend didn't count and will have to be done again?
