Must be something about old wooden coasters and attracting people without thought out plans for what they are going to do once they obtain what they are trying to buy/save.
-
Lockers next to the photo store are all day, multiple access. The rest in the park are short term, single access. For what you are wanting to do the all day lockers are what you want. Cost is around $8-10 for the day. Single use are $2 for a up to a hour.

45m enclosed slide which is indoors at Milne Bay Aquatic Centre, Toowoomba. http://www.thechronicle.com.au/news/pool-the-place-to-be-as-temperature-soars/113911/ the only photo I can find online

You could feel the difference in speed and the incline to vertical under normal operation didn't feel as forceful as it was during filming. When they strapped the g-force meter do you really think they were going to run it less than full speed?
-
Outside of the filming for for coaster wars I don't think it has and don't think it will for a fair while. The ride has a horrible shudder returning to the station after a full speed launch and gets worse after each run.

Movie World casting call was basically calling those who participated in the Dreamworld filming and requesting those able to make it along to bring friends or if unable to attend ask friends who may be interested and able to attend. No "official" shout outs for extras were done via any other source such as Theme Park Review for the Superman filming.

Look forward to revisiting two great days through the wonders of TV!

Why is this even being posted here when there is the dedicated post for you to argue about it in? As for ride closures don't think anything can be said for certain but the previous years closures would have at least Superman down for part of February. It is still anyone's guess if they keep up the habit of doing so.

Juvelen at Djurs Sommerland has opened and CoasterClub Denmark have posted a POV of the ride in its now more complete state. http://youtu.be/80TgoRrujyw

It seems that this has finally sold, begs the question of who was stupid enough to buy it. Although at 1.1 million + shipping it is well within the budget of a certain local park known for making poor decisions of late. Severely doubt that is where it will end up though. http://www.intermarkridegroup.com/roller-coasters/vekoma-boomrang-rc1300

Same here, when paying the pricing that eVent want for movies the extra $3 is worth it. As for xD cinemas? Why do we need more than 4D and listing different effects doesn't mean you can add +1 to the D count, all it does is make you look like a D-bag!

The really odd thing with the expansion of WWW is that it is all approved, just they haven't actually laid out the cash and built it. Given the way WnW is going they are extremely stupid to think the park can continue to be a relative alternative when down the road there is a rightfully claimed biggest and best. Sure it wouldn't make WWW the biggest but it would add something new which hasn't been seen since they rushed a slide to try to compete with the Aqualoops. I have no problem with part of the money being spent on expanding a park that badly needs it. Back on topic I am with most other people in saying that opening later is a much better option than closing earlier. A 11am weekday opening would also help get those travelling just a bit further out of peak hour traffic and a better run to the park. On the topic of AWE closing that whole area of the park after 4pm is a good idea in the quieter times, the only downside that comes with it is closing the koala photos. In regards to the train there is no reason why it just can't go past the station with an announcement saying the train will not stop at the station.

Hey Dreamworld did great too in managing to crack the top 200 with Tower of Terror at 168. Maybe they will be lucky enough to steal 150th from Scooby next year. New additions saw the El Loco beat the Skyloop by 39 places (182nd vs 221st). Dreamworld again choosing well with new additions.

Maybe they should become vintage boats instead of cars!

They were stopped being owned by a bank when Ardent Leisure split from Macquarie. It doesn't mean things like aforementioned cutting of hours to save costs don't happen. It will happen any time a company is run with shareholders in mind. I do know if I was a shareholder I would be getting kind of pissed off at what is happening, especially with what the major competition are reporting for their parks.

You guys are getting a "Superway" though, compared with a normal highway/freeway that sounds exciting by name!

Fill the pool with it and swim in it as the chances of anything decent as seen in previous years is quite low. Well anything they haven't been told how/what to build **looks at Dreamworks**. -
The biggest issue that I have with the passes at the moment is that the Gold is reduced and given away so often it lacks what made it special to begin with. The demise of the higher price point also seems to have seen the demise of the perks that came with going for gold. I would like to see pricing go back to what it was when they first introduced the Gold but would also like to see the return of the benefits for doing so. Whilst I never made use of early entry it was nice to know it was an option if I wanted to use it.

Here is a nice article on the history of Atari and bankruptcies. http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2013/01/todays-atari-bankruptcy-latest-in-a-long-history-of-corporate-deaths/

Nearly 10 million! Sounds great and glad to see they are getting something that exceeds the budget of Dreamworlds latest attractions!

I may put some people off side with this but if you are a local and own a VIP or Discovery pass then you have nearly no reason to complain about a $2 hire fee for a short term locker. You are paying less than two days entry to access to 3 parks for almost 6 months. Complaining about having to spend a whole $2 for a short term hire to experience something if you are local can be done almost every weekend then you should really question having the pass to begin with if your budget really is that tight.

When you are paying for parking in a car park you go in knowing what it will cost you for a certain amount of time, same deal here. No different to if you stayed for 31 minutes and get charged the next level for parking than someone who puts their items in the locker only to get them out 5 minutes later. Even though it has changed on Green Lantern on a quiet day you could get away with a couple of rides on Superman and at least one on Green Lantern within a hour. If you are paying for a hour then you have every right to use as much or as little of that as you want. A tip for monitoring time if you lack a watch is to use ride photos. The number next to the letter is the time in 24hr format. Just make a note of what the last photo was when you get your locker and use that as a guide for remaining time when leaving after riding.
