Ok, all we have right now is a billboard with a couple of animals in a jungle and as I predict it might follow up from Dinosaur Island when that closes down. When it is around about late this year or early 2014 we might see some action around there. So what could it possibly be?

Why would Dinosaur Island close down when it's only just opened?

If I were a betting man I'd say it'll be crocs gorillas and probably hippos in the reclaimed land next to Beach Break Bay.

It was only meant to be a temporary attraction. When it opened the park stated it was due to be open for just over a year. This would place its closure at around the end of the June/July holidays this year. http://www.goldcoast...heme-parks.html

What's the second new ride?

One's advertised as "Storm" and the other as "Wild". I don't actually know exactly what either is, but as as I know Storm will be some sort of water-coaster (hopefully with an indoor component in what's left of the old Bermuda Triangle building).

I have a good feeling it'll be where the Dino Island now stands aswell, no idea what they can do with it but I'm excited to see

Though to me it looks more like an exhibit, I doubt they'd start marketing a new exhibit this early.

I think "Wild" will be a replacement for "Dinosaur Island" and be a similar attraction with animatronic animals, opening early 2014.

I'd be pretty shocked if it were animatronic animals. Sea World is a park which features real animals, I very much doubt that they'd get fake versions of modern day animals. To me it seems like it will be animal exhibits, which FWIW I'm not really a fan of it since for me it strays too far from "The Sea" theme. Looking forward to the explanation that "All life evolved in the Sea, these are their land dwelling descendants"

I seriously doubt they will have real gorillas (as seen on the billboard). I'm guessing it will be a jungle area and information centre. Jungle animals don't fit in with Sea World, they will only have real sea creatures.

Seaworld to get a Jungle Cruise ride?

I still maintain that it could be a re-theme and renew of their 3D cinema to a 4D experience..with the said film being the theme being the premise for the "Wild" concept.....perhaps a River cruise film for a 4D attraction?

Speaking of the theatre, I'd really like to see them make it more like Movieworld's one with moving seats and a bit more theming. Not sure if that's possible with their space allocation though, but a nice jungle themed theatre could go well.

Thought you were meaning replace the theatre with a jungle cruise. I'm thinking (fake) trees, monkeys, birds, jungle looking flooring etc in the theatre with a few new movies - this would be more of a longer running show as the theming would need to stay relevant though.

Nah I meant that the theatre would get an overhaul from a 3d to a full blown 4d experience...and yes similar to the Movieworld attraction. I reckon it would make sense. It could be a good move!

And also, if it was something to do with the theatre then the current positioning of the billboards could actually make sense.

Each to their own, but if I ran a theme park I wouldn't spend any money on 3D cinema enhancements etc....I don't think they have real pulling power anymore.
