New hours through till end of April next year Looks to be reduced hours most weekdays with October having full hours on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Usual full hours over peak December/January, with the park opening at 9:30 but rides not until 10. Then February through April is the reduced hours.

People’s awareness of whether they have a pre-existing medical condition is often unknown. There have been several documented cases of people dying on roller coasters after experiencing a medical event associated with an underlying condition. It seems like that in most cases, the individual may not have been aware of the condition before riding, with the physical demands of the ride triggering their conditions. This is what I was more so gearing my response to but it doesn't fully come through as that. Sometime in the past 24 hours there was an incident that resulted in the injury of a rider on Batman Gotham City Escape at Parque Warner Madrid. I don't know too much about what happened but something happened (apparently more so park operations fault, but time will tell)

I did, just found that headline to be typical news outlet 'slop'. I agree with @themagician and I find this to be very similar to the Stardust Racers incident, where there was an underlying medical condition. Obviously we don't know the full details but dissapointing regardless, I find Eejanaika to be exceptional albeit with a bit of a jostle.

I believe there's strict internal policy that prohibits this most of the time. In 2007, it would now be roughly 16.3 million. New trains would be one of the biggest cost, probably looking around 1.5-3million each (shipping being a large cost). Somewhat confirmed that the current roof that the station has will be removed to allow for the track to be removed, assuming they use a crane.

I was there on Tuesday and everything was as normal. Relatively broad statement to make because one ride had looser restrictions.

I don't believe Intamins track gauge has changed. iSpeed is a similar coaster and uses LSMs. They can be retrofitted on, and I believe that LSMs are now powerful to be able to accelerate the train from a rolling launch. As @wikiverse said,

Greg has said it will be fully taken apart ("we're gonna take the entire track down, remediate it completely repaint it, put it back up again")

Biggest issue would be the staging area required to put the ride pieces whilst its being rehabilitated. I don't think we will have prolonged closures but most likely daily ones similar to what was happening during the JR netting.

Once again the 2026 Sea World Spooky Nights have been launched and tickets are now on sale! The event runs for 5 nights this year, Saturday 17th, Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st (Halloween) The biggest change this year is the reduction in event hours now running from 5:30-8:00pm (30 min shorter), at least the price has stayed the same. I wonder if the park will stay 'open' between 4 and 5:30pm? The Monster Mayhem Laser Lightshow may or may not be back. It doesn't appear on any of the pages (attractions or entertainment), but when you search for it, it appears however, when you view the show information there's nothing (show times) and the the it's display card has no name. Other than that, entertainment offerings seem to be significantly reduced from what I can remember. Rides operating seemed to be fine. Disappointing, albeit its been years since I've gone. White Christmas is the best VRTP 'free' event imo, and could do with longer hours (30 min longer). These changes here make me concerned about that 'almost perfect' event, and what exactly am I paying for with my 'premium' pass. More for less?

Anyone know anyone? Had this made for a while, some ATVs and 'new experiences that can't be spoken about just yet' would look pretty good...

A lot of things have been confirmed in @Mr. YumYum video with Dreamworld CEO, Greg Yong. Most notably The ride will have a brand new Control and Launch System The original hydraulic launch will be removed, and replaced with an electric tire driven launch (not LSMs). The ride will be taken apart, remediate it and repainted The ride experience will be enhanced and 'can't be spoken about just yet.. to make it much more exciting' 'So much of the budget is dedicated to theming... and is about a really great story' Bit weird imo that INTAMIN hasn't been mentioned as supplying the new trains, and ride components, instead being referred to as 'a European manufacturer'. And the expensive cost of taking the ride apart, piece by piece.
