Whilst on the topic of looping audio/video. "Hello and welcome...."

Somewhat sure buildings in the LW alley heading from Main Street on the left you have Superman inside that building and on the right you have the Cafe and Scooby inside those. It is a good idea if the space wasn't already taken by other uses.

Screw tourism and jobs, there's land value for the local residents at stake here!

Google Maps by itself is average but combine it with Google Navigation and you have an extremely hard to beat navigation solution, especially for the price you are paying. I am another of the former iPhone users who now use an S3 and will never go back to Apple after it. I prefer innovation via the phone, not the courtroom.

As someone who doesn't use an iPhone as my primary phone can't say I am yet to see it. Whilst it is good to see an app would be nicer if it was available for those of us who have Android devices as well.

In relation to decorations being up early doesn't the park offer a Christmas event available to companies. Companies start having their Christmas parties around this time of year. What if, and I know this is a big if, the park has put up decorations early so they can take bookings for private Christmas themed events after hours and make extra money that way. With major weekends in December unavailable due to the White Christmas event I am sure they would need to look at doing private booking around a month out from when the public event starts.

I am sure I am not the only one who is sick of opening this topic and finding an episode of Jerry Springer happening. Getting back on topic has there been anything else from the park to suggest that there is a new coaster being built. Have to excuse me for not remembering but it seems a while since this topic was last talking about the possibility of a new coaster and not debating the number of carriages/trains on Scenic Railway.

Maybe seeing the decorations up is a good way of advertising to people in the park about their Christmas event. Most places now have started putting up some sort of Christmas decorating so I personally cannot see the problem with Movie World getting in the spirit of things too.

Most of their new additions have been flats. Claw, Shockwave, Buzzsaw, AVPX. Lets hope it is to the level of thrill as what the Wipeout and Claw are.

Why are we automatically jumping on the Sky Fly bandwagon? There is also something like BrainSurge at Mall of America that could fit it. You control the thrill level of that ride too.

Interesting to see where they take it. Can honestly say I have not seen the full Star Wars series, only Ep 1 and part of 2.

The things that had the worst lines on Saturday night were the rides. The mazes looked to have long lines but they moved quickly and were in the maze within half an hour and this is from a queue that was overflowing. I don't see front of line passes required for the mazes.

Yeah, I was thinking more of static props/animatronics than actual people. No way would they be able to have people in that area outside of adding/removing trains.

To be honest I would like to see something done to Superman pre-launch to fit in with Halloween. Bring zombies to the subway section, change the green light to red for the plant water. No reasons why zombies and earthquakes can't co-exist. You can still use the launch as Superman getting you away to safety.

I was there and had a really enjoyable night even with the rain at the start of it (was a nice change from being so damn hot!). The stand out for me along with many other people was the Hillbilly Slasher maze. The effort and work done with it made you feel like you were actually walking through the woods and house. First part where you were "outdoors" even smelt like you were. The show in the arena this year I felt wasn't as good as the circus last year but still a good show. The dancing by the performers made up for the Nickelback soundtrack (even if it was one of their better songs). It was a good idea but I didn't expect the show to end what felt suddenly to me. One thing I will say is the queues for the mazes whilst looking long were short. The ride queues were on the long side but if you are doing the night for the rides you are doing it wrong (especially Scooby!). For something the park has done themselves all the crew behind the scenes should be proud of what they have achieved as it is nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere in the park was great as were the scare actors. Also liked in some of the queues the actors walking up and down keeping people occupied whilst waiting. Given the numbers in the park overall it was a very enjoyable and relaxed night with no rushing to do mazes. If there were rides involved it would have been a different matter but I feel the rides are just a sideshow to the main event.

That doesn't really say the ride is open, just that it is a world premiere at Movie World and to buy tickets for it now.

Easily Flying Turns, they were making some real progress on it until flooding earlier in the year.

Didn't do Blacktown but the Maccas at Lansvale was shit. Only went to two whilst in Sydney and the one I returned to was the one in Auburn. It was also the best setup with a new system for orders. Say all you want about pricing but if the food is of good quality and served in a reasonable time frame (something Maccas at Coffs Harbour south need to learn) then I don't mind paying more. It is the very reason why I go to a place like Nandos over KFC on a regular basis.
