  1. My opinion after having a few years off... Mazes seemed very haphazardly strung together. In HoK we encountered one scare actor the whole time. 60 minute + wait for rides but rides were not on our to do list... at least maZes moved quickly. HC queue closed by 8.15? Saw two stages set up. One playing music briefly, the other had nothing on it the few times we wandered past. Precincts were not themed. Having a grouping of characters roaming around specific areas does not a precinct make. FN is in desperate need of a quality show to soak up the crowds. Before the fanboys scream - I repeat, just my opinion. Won't be back. For those that enjoyed it - im glad for you. But for me the price tag just didnt meet expectations.
  2. Hey guys, anyone know how accessible this is for folks who can transfer out of a wheelchair?
  3. https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/south-australia/woman-injured-in-accident-at-royal-adelaide-show/news-story/bed92c08b1f94f1f79c1409f2ed46f40 Headline should really read 'Woman with preexisting condition hurts herself on a ride she probably shouldn't have been on'
  4. Wasnt sure where else to put this pic :)
  5. Given the newest clue its cosentino for sure... #yawn
  6. If this is about the recently approved 'Central Perk' Lego set from the Friends TV series, DW are going to have a lot of disappointed fb followers. Fingers crossed it's not this.
  7. I did a solo Disneyworld trip last August. This is going to sound like an ad but I am so glad I used touringplans.com to sort out my days. Planning was half the fun, and I managed to do everything I wanted and more in the short time I was there, and the plan was updated as I was there on the day. Fastpass for Pandora is crucial if you must do it. Remember to take advantage of single rider lines if you don't mind missing queue theming.
  8. Hey guys, long time no post! Heading to Orlando in August for a week, wondering if anyone has tips or advice on getting the most out of it and what parks are must dos. For me, Universal is the big draw card especially all things Potter. Do you think three days is a bit overkill for both parks? Magic Kingdom is a must but what other Disney parks should I get on my itinerary? Im interested in all things superhero and character photos etc Any help or thoughts are appreciated to help get the most out of this. Thanks guys!
  9. Will we ever know the official story here? The media has moved on, does Movieworld have an obligation to release an official report?
  10. He was on the Today show this morning as well. He down-played it really well.. earning his money today that's for sure. That is the GM of Movieworld. Not Rob
  11. This is unbelievable... from the pictures it does appear the ride suffered a major issue today. I was heading towards Paradise Country when I saw the snafoo outside movieworld with the crane. I was in a rush so I didnt have time to stop. I am so glad noone was injured... when the ride does re-open, i truly doubt i will get my partner on it again.
  12. Went back a few pages and couldnt find anything. Rode Scooby on Sunday and none of the animatronics in the ghost train section were working. So sad to see a brilliant well themed attraction just go to pieces. The wild mouse is looking good... but there is no smoke at all in there. Did they just give up on it?
  13. Anyone going to visit Jurassicworld.com Looks great!
  14. Yea. I never ride carny rides. My opinion is they are unsafe with unreliable operators. Hope this girls family can find some peace.
  15. I think the main way to get people re-riding is a simple scoreboard at the end of the course. Showing top 10 scores of the day, week, month, all time. This gives you a better excuse to go round and ride again. Even the option to add ur name next to your high score as ur leaving and then share to facebook. A couple of touchscreens would facilitate this at the ride exit. I know if I saw I was only a little bit away from top three I would ride aga8n to beat my score. Oh god. A scoreboard at the end showing ur face (an automated discreet camera) with ur score underneath... u can then print out ur score card and keep for next time
  16. Watched this movie last night. Not as funny as the first or the series but the wet n wild sequences were hilarious. Was fun to see the creative licence used. Dolphins and slides splashing down into the wave pool
  17. Lots of construction going on on a wet and miserable day lots of work going on at the wave pool and the kiddies area.
  18. Heading to Movieworld tomorrow morning. Might swing by Wet n Wild if the requests are there. Any requests for photos?
  19. I didn't really pay much attention but there was someone on a ladder in the queue line.
  20. I took the photos from vantage points accessible by the public with a little bit of creative thinking.... yes the monorail was still operational. Vikings revenge still down.
  21. Some pics from today. Sorry I didnt get the shot looking from the entrance to the reclaimed land. This is the best I could do without trespassing. I couldnt get any shots of the station interior. I am going to assume the whole thing is coming down though.
