I have prebooked for the 15th and have no issue with that cost during holidays, neither do I have an issue with $20 for DCR backwards during the holidays. I do however hope when the tailwhip train is used outside of peak there is a lower pricing structure. At $10/$15 it is something I would likely do most visits. Would hate to see the seats sit empty as DCR seats often do during offpeak.

Tail Spin, Shockwave and The Bro is now listed as ending on December 10, Claw is the 19th.

Yep this commenced today replacing the previous 3 days get 12 months deal (parks only), includes a $10 Skypoint F/B voucher, a single use ride express and 25% off Skypoint Weekday climbs and some external offers. Slight oversight though with that ad including happy halloween when it wont be included in the pass.

On this note, it appears we are going from individual park designs on the all day sippers to a VRTP branded one. They also just had a price rise to $15 and $9 to reactivate.

VRTP have now announced what they are willing to offer those who will be unable to visit when the new vaccine mandate come into place. I think this is fair, a good gesture of goodwill.

The FAQ was updated a few days ago to state they may now be brought in earlier. We are now back to will start on the 17th regardless of hitting 80% earlier

I’m guessing soft openings a few days prior and offical on the 15th of December

They are running both trains currently and training staff.

Originally it seemed the messaging was could happen earlier if we hit 80%, now the FAQ says Personally agree that I don't think it will have a huge impact on numbers willing to visit, and this might be just enough of a push to get those hesitant jabbed. Considering they will be following the law I doubt anyone will be entitled to a refund, what they choose to do as a "gesture of goodwill" if anything will be interesting. Worth noting it is due for review (top right) when we hit 90%.
