Lol, I'm surprised they're even allowed to operate. Knowing Aussie World the ride will probably be second hand, but they've shown time and time again they can make old rides good so I'm not fussed. It's just a shame AW wasnt in the financial position they're in now to buy some of Wonderland's rides when they closed. The Demon sold for 1.7$ million and would've been a great addition for AW.

Whats wrong with Ali Babi? I ask because I know nothing about it lol.

Any guesses as to what the ride could be? I just hope its not another spinning ride lol and its mid-high thrill.

http://www.sunshinec...ide-the-plunge/ Looks like the investments are paying off. This is GREAT news and it looks like Aussie World has finally found a place in the market.

Yeah I think the ads are great too! Simple yet effective. They should show the combo ad a lot because those are now their 2 flagship rides and will get families through the doors.

2 new ADS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZbepO_ss2g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EULYS2Gjdfs

Yeah it is 2nd hand, came from down south. But you wouldnt know with how much theyve renovated it. Theyve really themed it well too - and its in theme with the Aussie theme.

Aussie World looks like it's taking the exact same road as Paulton's Park in the UK. Same rides...but Paulton's is older and hence a bit bigger and they recently put in a small sonic spinball rollercoaster. Next up for Aussie World?

^ Sounds like a porno

What did u think of the ride? Were there many ppl on it?

Thanks for the video! Will be cool to see an on ride one at some stage! If one is not up by when I go I'll get my brother to do it.

Yay thanks a lot Chris! cant wait for the video! is it an actual on ride one?

I actually think the boats are new unless theyve been totally gutted and re-fitted/painted. I didnt see any boats arrive with the flume parts so yeah they well could be new. I like the logo's they have on the front too!

Opening December 8 Pic http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/382731_331110630248128_114201288605731_1327926_435395755_n.jpg They better have a TV ad for it since they had one for the crummy slide lol. This ride will actually get people through the doors.

lol...but but

Been almost a month since last update. Im planning on going on boxing day with fam. Wish there was some kind of update

You should've gotten pics of the flume

It makes me a little mad that Dreamworld spent $17 million on 2 crappy coasters when they could've got a decent world class one for that price especially with our strong dollar right now.

Oh please, we already have a LegoLand - just without the lego. It's called Dreamworld. Same calibre of rides, only difference being Dreamworld calls theirs "thrill" rides. *snort*

Now THIS is how you take a travelling carny ride and make it a proper theme park attraction. Wow, I'm impressed! Again, big thanks for the photo's. I will be there early Dec (hope its open by then) to provide an update.

^ I'm not complaining since I fall into the young thrill seeker demographic HOWEVER I do love family rides too and from a business perspective, it doesnt make sense to keep putting in thrill rides when they don't have barely any family rides.

I would except I'm studying for my uni finals? I'm not demanding an update I was just throwing it out there in case someone is going. And I will provide an update when the ride opens as that coincides with my holidays.

2 weeks since the last update. Would be great for a new one soon! wink wink - lol.

Flop coaster. It's quite embarrassing how much this has stalled in its first few months.

I'm enjoying watching this evolve.
