Not very Aussie lol... But should be good!

Skyscreamer please they look EPIC!

The title of this thread, unfortunately, doesn't match the contents of it. I read through it all and the general vibe i got from it was that it does indeed deserve all the hate it gets lol.

No i did not I'm sorry…didn't want to take my phone on The Plunge, you get mad soaked on it haha.

Went to Aussie World on boxing day (first time since they put the red back, plunge and giant slide in - greaaat day!). I noticed when i was on The Plunge, the area next to it (in between the skirmish and the plunge ride) had been excavated and there was foundations for a ride being laid. It's a round ride and there is wooden steps all around it so I'm assuming this is the 'wave swinger'. Excited! AW is such a great little park now.

Looking forward to pics :) hint hint wink wink

Could you be anymore annoying? Seriously, give it a bone. Aussie net man - Id love pics of the new wet play area theyre supposedly building but I suppose you wont see this till you get home so fingers crossed you read my mind.

Just in case there was any doubt this wasn't the ride, i can 100% confirm it is the ride. There's a cropped pic of this ride with 2 people on a green tube with the same color slide (red and yellow) on a full page advertisement in the Sunday Mail outlining the new rides across VWTP (justice league, ice age 4d, dinosaur island and the new w&w ride).

lol you obviously missed the sarcasm.

LOL @ this argument. That's all I have to add.

My mum thought scooby doo was a ghost train...she screamed the WHOLE time and it was the type of scream that one hears in horror movies when one is about to get killed.

They do have elements of thrill rides though although overall I'd call them family rides.

Can you guys please not hijack my thread? I keep opening it expecting to see ...responses to the question I asked...but it's been fighting for the last page or so.

LOL...this was posted on their Facebook a day or two ago...What do you guys think? Slight dig at Dream World for no longer having the tallest drop tower in the world or all in my head?

Bad move Dreamworld. Majority of people aren't Aboriginal and couldnt give a rats a$$. Sorry if thats not politically correct but its true.

QLD kiddays have been back all this week.

pdsa;kfj;dskjf;dksj;kldshf @ people losing their minds over a new Dreamworld roller coaster. I knew they were fake straight away, no offence

I refuse to believe this lol I mean it would be amazing if it was for some big $20 million roller coaster but lets look at it from a rational point of view... they just put in a coaster last year, plus DW likes to hype up their rides and if they were spending a shit load on a new coaster we would know about it. If its true then I'll eat my words (only if its a good coaster )

Oh great another kiddy coaster. *eye roll* Look at the support beams, this is clearly for some light weight kiddy ride. No one should get their hopes up for this...I mean this is Nightmareworld we're talking about.

That >>>> crudsaw.

Anyone have year on year attendance figures for the parks? I'd love to see a detailed analysis of it.

Im surprised they open during weekdays to be honest, the sunny coast is dead during the week but gets big crowds during weekends/holidays. I don't even see how they'd break even on weekdays, it seems like a loss.

Oh my brothers getting a go pro i think for when he goes snowboarding. Great little cam! Just out of curiosity, what day did u go to AW? It looks so ...dead :S

Thanks! Nice video and lovely quality And was that audio I heard in the shed part? Cool!
