You got to have faith. I think all parks should be on here - it's a win-win situation. Most of the medium sized parks are eager to get the good word out.

Welcome Jamberoo, great to see you posting on Parkz. Good luck with your expansion.

What's worth checking out at Disney?

I think Mort is right - you need to do the mountains first up. Keep it simple and convince your friends to reverse their park order if you can. -

Is it my imagination or did they use TPR's footage of The Wild Mouse? -

Those Movie World theme parks should lift their game. -

I remember the Wild Mouse's seat belts were pretty dodgy back when it was in Perth. Bit of a beat up to include the Storm Coaster. -

More mentions of the monster and the latest picture of the work site on AW's facebook page. It's getting mighty cold in Perth - goodluck for tomorrow, Mark. -
Yeah, no surprises there. I've lived in country and regional Australia for 18 years and I've seen all that before. Mediocre hotels and restaurants with hit and miss service. I think I've even paid more for a hire car. Ironically, there are plenty of large rocks and interesting formations closer to city centres than people realise.

Eureka Mountain Mine Ride reopening discussion
iwerks replied to rappa's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Great themeing idea, Razza. I'm hoping when they reopen Eureka that this could be incorporated into the ride, itself. If they had on ride photos they could be presented in a 'Trespassers will be shot' cardboard photo frame. -

Wow, Andrew. That must've been a real Midnight Express moment when they kept you waiting at the gates. So, in the end I guess it was a gentleman's agreement that you would stay away for awhile. I suppose you could always buy a day pass and pay full price. -

I thought Razza was talking about Andrew getting banned from Dreamworld after his foray into Eureka. I still haven't worked out how they managed to track him down. Did he have a season pass or did they have his photo in every booth with a sign that said 'do not admit this person.' -
Escape from Madagascar has some pretty tight fitting harnesses.

Sounds like fun. I presume that's out at Cape Kennedy. Mears runs a good bus service from Downtown Disney to the cape, but I assume you've got that transport covered. -

Let's not forget that these parks are massive in size. You'd be lucky to visit MK in the morning and take the monorail to Epcot. If you're catching a shuttle from a non Disney hotel they might just drop you off at the Epcot parking lot - you may not have a lot of choice. -

I've also noticed that a lot of other parks in Perth, like Outback Splash, are also doing Throwback Thursdays since Adventure World started. -

The Unofficial Guide is the bible. It's great reading irregardless. The first time I went to Disney World I stayed for 5 days, the second time, 12 days. Stay at a Disney property if you can. -

Interesting that the park is hash tagging monster with reference to their new slide - could this be a reference to the Kraken? -
You have to go to Disneyland - there's always plenty to do, no matter how many times you've been there before. I can also recommend Sea World and the San Diego Zoo.

Major Rides Shut at Coast Theme Park (WBMW article)

Yeah, I know some people who only pay at the gate because they don't care to buy tickets online and money doesn't matter to them. They don't do their research and act surprised when they end up paying more. I think MW should put on a permanent show in the old Maverick stage show area as this would make up for the lack of rides. -
That's odd - I'm pretty sure I've exited and re-entered MW no problems just using the pass.

I did actually donate earlier.. The big pipes have turned up in the car park and AW's Facebook page has gone nuts. Someone said 'what kind of slide is it'? And someone else suggested they look at this thread. Nice. -

Interesting that Proslide Technologies and Themebuilders have both donated to the CEO's Sleepout Appeal. I wonder if that means anything..? Mark has raised $6,250 so far - congrats! -

Outback Splash is planning to get a Kids Tornado slide. I think Adventure World has some pretty good kids slides in Kahuna Falls, unlike Outback Splash which literally has nowhere for the little kids to cool off. -

According to comments on Adventure World's Facebook Page it looks like they might be planning to expand their water park section in Dragon's Kingdom with some more slides in a year or two. -
The 2014 Global Attractions Attendance Report is out. Congrats to the water parks on the Gold Coast. http://www.aecom.com/deployedfiles/Internet/Capabilities/Economics/_documents/Theme Index_2014_v1_1a.PDF
