  1. In fairness though, it was a really quiet day and the carpark was pretty empty. I think the max I waited for a ride was 10mins. At the end of the day we did ToT about 7 times in a row without even getting up out of the seat.
  2. I would assume Foxwell road stuff would be related to Big Brother as that seems to be the main entry and exit for construction as far as I'm aware.
  3. Gates open: 6pm Gates close: 9:30pm Eh, this I'll pass on this one
  4. To queue: >Walk up the outside of the tower. (as per normal) >Normally you'd wait at the door for the previous ride to disembark (in line with where Q4U wait), instead you keep walking straight ahead towards the OP booth. >There's a gate ahead that opens to the normal sliding doors. You enter through that. >Upon exit you leave via the sliding doors and back down the inside of the tower.
  5. Speaking of random cars at theme parks. This was parked at Dreamworld the other day.
  6. Interesting to note that while they've fixed up the front of the wave and it looks good, the back of it looks horrible.
  7. "Moving the viewing area closer to the ride" To me that suggests that maybe the ride to replace the Reef Diver is going to need a larger footprint than what is currently available.
  8. Yes exiting via the turbine room has been in place since WWW was built. What I'm asking is, Usually you queue up the outside to a rope and a door. You wait there until a load of people was from your left on the outside stairs before the OP dropping the rope and you walk into the station. Now when the ride finishes, you do not exit via the stairs. You exit via the doors you enter from and walk back down into the turbine room. edit - Also, this video kind of shows how bad the lake/river/whatever is now the boat doesn't go around. Imagine this everywhere in the water. You can't see anything but green.
  9. Speaking of. Got a chance to watch the rapids at Dreamworld start up today (just before midday iirc) That also fills quite fast
  10. Ok, so last time I was at the park it was busy enough for Q4U. This time I actually queued like a peasant for Cyclone. How long has the queue been all the way down to the OP booth? The exit is now also back on the inside of the building without the need to walk down the outside steps.
  11. I can confirm for you fluffy has moved! Nah just kidding there was really nothing much going on except some grinding on the supports. No signs of construction going on. Cyclone queue was a little different to last time I rode. I'll explain more when I get home.
  12. Should be heading to DW today. I'll have a look around and see if I can see any ground being broken or signs of development around.
  13. ^ I thought Superman had a range of speeds for launch based on weather/weight etc?
  14. They should all be replaced with 1W lasers so people stop complaining they can't see them
  15. It's in their "posts by others" section somehow Inspirewa Perth InspireWA hopes to be able to assist Hard Rock Café, Café del Mar, and Gene Simmons' Rock and Brews enter the WA market. Business News today highlighted the work that Eric Pearson of InspireWA has undertaken to raise the profile of the state with these multinational brands. And they have given up on the park idea, for now at least. InspireWA What we unfortunately lack is a shared government vision. Or, a government that would buy into such a vision. This takes an outlook beyond multiple elections to see this into a reality. We've said all along that without government buy in, the concept will die. Just like Qantas/Virgin are saying about foreign ownership... Three foreign airlines have bought into Virgin. Each of these airlines are back by their respective governments. With government backing, you get investment buy-in, confidence, and ultimately capital to work with - not necessarily capital from governments...but from investors! March 2 at 10:09am · Edited · Like
  16. Why not make the outside of the Cyclone queue a slide tower. Change the inside to be themed back to a cyclone, and split the queue back to a in/out (most of the bars are already there for that)
  17. Is WnW even doing anything though? Or do you mean constrictor? If it's constrictor it's a bit late to copy them now.
  18. God I'm sick of seeing people wanting a B&M here. How about you go make a few hundred million, buy the park and ship over your own damn B&M. It's not happening otherwise. There's nothing wrong with Cyclone. IMO it's a great ride, not the roughest (Thank SeaViper for that one) 1. I really do not want to see SV trains on Cyclone. IMO it ruined Corkscrew for me. Don't take mah cyclone too!!!! 2. I don't think I'm imagining it, but I swear at one time when I was on Cyclone they were parking it manually and it was so much better. One stop mid-station then a stop at the front. Sure they'll screw it up at some point though I guess.
  19. IMO - Big 9 ride - will be yet another spin & spew to go where reef diver was Waterslide - fairly certain it's going from the top of TOT down into the eureka mountain. Makeover - Wipeout (duh) and either Cyclone, Cinema, Log ride or Rapids
  20. 2005. Yr 12. The memories. Thank god that's over.
  21. I'm going to need some help here.... International Association of Waterworks in the Rhine Catchment Area Institute for Air Weapons Research International Association of Women Runners Inter American Water Resources
