  1. They quite probably do and just want the community to get involved and get more people talking about it. It adds to the excitement and anticipation.
  2. Dude, you're going to need a lot thicker skin if you're going to be carrying on with life, let alone reading something on the internet
  3. Sounds like you have a lower tolerance for G-forces/blood pressure issues basically read the warning signs posted on the rides, and get a check up from your local gp.
  4. Looks like MikeMac was right.
  5. The "like" button on the forum isn't the same as the facebook one. It's forum specific.
  6. What exactly does the season pass get you?
  7. ^ Speaking of, is it just me or does it not show who's liked what post anymore?
  8. Brisbane More than 400,000 people will come together at the 2013 Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) in Brisbane from August 8 to 17 to see the best of Queensland with more than 10,000 animals, 23,000 competition entries, a smorgasbord of award-winning food and wine and hours of free family entertainment. Sydney The Sydney Royal Easter Show is Australia’s largest annual event, attracting close to 900,000 people each year. 9. Oh yea, for those of you playing along at home, the Crazy Coaster has been repainted. It's no longer purple. From memory it's now red. I think the cars may have changed slightly, but I don't really remember.
  10. At least you don't get the bullshit rikki lee concert but your rides are more expensive
  11. Different strokes for different folks. I visited SFMM after Disney and absolutely loved it. I also thought the loading an unloading was done in a timely manner (nothing will ever beat Disney on that though IMO). I also found the ops messing around on the loud speaker to be quite entertaining as it mostly only occurred while the ride was in motion and they had nothing else to do. Beats the ops at other parks just standing around and talking to each other or doing nothing at all. edit - Also never had any problems with guests/park/staff being "foul" at all. Everyone I came across was quite friendly and helpful.
  12. Probably not the first 2 nights. That way if they have any teething problems they can sort them out then
  13. Why not? Why would a mine themed ride (coaster) going into the "Goldrush" area not draw any crowds? ANY new ride at any park will draw a crowd. Ideally a ride fitting the theme would work better.
  14. Having worked at maccas for 4 years before this can happen if they have an issue with the co2 tanks, an issue with the water pumps, all the syrup boxes are empty (takes 2-3min to replace) or if both machines have had a fault at the same time (unlikely but it is technology)
  15. If it is asbestos (which I've heard years ago it is) they'll have to do something eventually as AFAIK it deteriorates over time. I have no idea how long this time is though.
  16. MyFun is owned by Village Roadshow Limited, one of the leading international entertainment and media company. The team at MyFun are based across our Sydney and Melbourne offices and working closely with our Theme Parks on the Gold Coast.
  17. An unsecured connection =/= intended free public wifi.
  18. It's always nice to burn your retina's every once in a while.
  19. ...letting it sit around for 4.5 months then doing a rush job for theming at the end of it But lets hope not
  20. So I guess the rumor of Seaworld's contract with Pascal Marshmellows was wrong?
