  1. Having never been, if it's anything like the luge they have in NZ, both full forward and full back were brakes. You had to keep the handle in the sweet spot.
  2. Recent survey from Future of Fun about the passes got me thinking. Firstly, I love the current VIP passes and what they've done for the park. Tonight I didn't feel like doing my normal daily 3-6 hour gaming session after work (no I don't have a social life) so I decided to do this instead. ------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------***------ In my opinion the current "VIP" passes aren't "VIP" at all. They're just the normal entry ticket everyone has these days. I personally wouldn't mind paying a lot more for the passes if you were to get better benefits. I have previously forked out a few hundred bucks for a 2 year pass to DW/WWW and a VIP pass at the same time. Sure, it was a lot for an up front cost (probably about $350) but I got way more than my monies worth out of them. My idea for a new pass (while cashing in on the current superhero theme). > Hard plastic card (same as you would get from your bank) > Unlimited entry to MW/SW/WnW for 2 years from the date of purchase > 15% Discount of F&B purchases in the parks > 10% discount on photo products > Early entry (30min) to the parks > 1-2 rides running 30 min early for passholders > Some kind of birthday bonus (discounted entry for friends or something) How much would I be willing to pay for this? Probably around $300 - To get your monies worth, you'd simply need to visit each park once, and one twice, or the same park 4 times over 2 years. That's not even counting the savings in-park. Is this ever likely to happen? No, but I felt like suggesting this anyway. An idea for card design
  3. Finished the jungle area apart from the odd chair or two to go in. Video of the log ride to come soon at
  4. ...I was implying people on facebook normally scroll through other peoples photos anyway.
  5. And this is different to any other days use of facebook, how?
  6. Cheers, I'm thinking a fantasy land using the giant chess pieces and bugs and stuff. I don't really put much thought into the next area until I'm finished with one though.
  7. I like how most of the people complaining on here are likely to have VIP passes, which are bloody cheap for what you get, and have the opportunity to visit the park whenever they want to. The target audience for the fast track would be genuine tourists and non frequent visitors. Sure other people would use it too, but so what. Don't most of you live within an hour or so from the park? There's 364 other days in the year (yeah whatever they're closed a couple of days, cbf looking at which) you could simply go back and do the ride you missed out on then when you had to wait an extra 5 minutes in each line.
  8. And this is inside that poorly designed building
  9. ^ If people want to pay more for it, let them. It's not unfair at all. It's giving people who don't like waiting in long lines an option not to. No one is forcing anyone to take it. If you find it distressing that someone has moved further ahead in the line than you, you might need some counselling before returning to a themepark....pretty much anywhere in the world. WnW has Fast Track DW has Q4U Disney has fastpass SF has Flash pass Universal has a VIP thing There's a bunch of parks you'd better cross off your list to visit.
  10. Isn't that your post from your other account directly above the one you just posted? edit -
  11. Did WnW close? They said this morning they would be open. And I for one was considering going today
  12. Look great and still shits all over anything I've done. The only downside I can see is that it finished in a building instead of on water.
  13. Yes I've been playing this all day. It's jungle time now
  14. Working on the entrance while I decide on the next theme
  15. No sound because I forgot I turned it off in the recording software. http://youtu.be/6n42sazh0tE http://youtu.be/7Olu8hdNWTM
  16. ^ Pfft, it's a water coaster anyway
  17. ^^ I would prefer it to be ^ That was actually coaster first then land around it. It could look nicer but I haven't really done too much with stuff in terrain yet.
  18. Why don't we just give the life guards blow darts then they can just drag the people out when they're done.
  19. I took your idea of the areas branching out. I really do suck at the building design, so I don't know about the town sq area, but I've left a little space for a something to go in the middle of the initial areas. I don't like the fact I don't have diagonal walls, so this will have to do for now.
  20. I managed to find something at one point which allowed a peep spawner in the middle of the park (max of 5 I think) edit - this wasn't it, but it might help http://www.playtool.com/pages/peepfactory/peepfactory.html
  21. Yeah I agree single is way too narrow, but I'd experimented with 3's and 4's before and they seemed to walk in circles a bit.
  22. Nice work. How do you find the guests go with such large paths? Or are they invisible paths and path covers?
  23. inb4 Rollercoast Tycoon Wii
  24. No but they (atari) built up suspense saying they were working on a new game in the series so everyone was anticipating #4 to come out, then they bring out this instead. Everyone had been asking for years for #4 then they get some crappy portable version. Now they're working on an iOS version too.
