  1. Kind of. You go up the exit lines instead of the queue. Your wait time may be reduced from say 60 mins in the normal queue to 5-10 mins in the fast track queue. Sometimes you'll be lucky enough to get straight on. Ride express is slightly different. You have a Q-Bot, or you can use your mobile now I think. Have a look at the ride express site for an idea of the wait time. Basically you choose the ride you want and it puts you in a virtual queue. Once your Q-Bot buzzes, you go up the exit and show the attendant who will let you on. You may have to wait 1-2 cycles depending on how they've grouped the riders. As for how it works, http://accesso.com/loqueue-overview/q-bot/
  2. Says the girl who's at the park almost daily and still posts plenty of photos.
  3. They know a lot more than you'd think and a lot more than they'd reveal. Wouldn't you enjoy making up some story and seeing how far someone would spread it?
  4. Going to guess, Batman stage, fountain, plaza/under big screen & WWF/DD area.
  5. They've been available for some weeks now but no one had mentioned it. (bought mine on the 6th)
  6. I thought you'd been around long enough to know the history of it? It was going to be called Rio Bravo as per the movie of the same name, but it was changed to Wild Wild West before a licensing issue in 2001 changed it again to what it is now.
  7. So whats the deal? I pay once and get a wristy for life or do I need to pay every time I want a wristy? Slightly regretting not accepting my invite, but it's a long drive and a short duration.
  8. Yeah maybe it was because it was the first one. One of the park reps called me to confirm parking and arrival time. Then I got an SMS. They mentioned an email but that never came. I put that down to teething issues. Just show up at 0715 and you'll be right.
  9. They should have called you by now or soon this arvo if you're doing it tomorrow.
  10. Happy birthday for then, random citizen! I'm doing the star tour in the morning, then the terror tour in the afternoon on the 1st ? can't wait.
  11. "Hey guys, can I have the plans for the new roller coaster please?"
  12. Some unedited phone shots from the other day just because. The wall doesn't look too bad either now.
  13. *waits for long winded post from some members gloating they were right all along*
  14. Surprisingly I agree with you on this. I wouldn't read it in a derogatory (thanks autocorrect) way at all. Screw trying to spell enthusiast (again, thanks autocorrect). They are "random" in the fact that we don't know who they are. To "us" (is that bad too?) members of this forum, we don't know who they are and we'll call them something that implies we don't know that. Plus, were quite likely to have even done the tour with some "random" parkz member that you don't know or recognise either. I know of one highly prominent member who's done the tour with other "random parkz members" and no one knew who they were.
  15. Ah yes, the trusty gc bulletin. Always a reliable source of up to date information.
  16. Hi, welcome to May. Also I lie, I wouldn't find a spot to eat as I'd then lose it going to collect my food. I'd simply walk to the store from where ever I was when I made the order.
  17. I'm sure photoshop has been used in other tiger photos before, yes.
  18. OK, I'm just going to write the update here because I'm confused which thread is which for Dreamworld now. Tiger Island: The injured lady is making a good recovery and Dreamworld are looking into the surface to see if it can be improved in any way, so expect to see some minor changes there. The area is set for completion by the end of November 2016. Wanda: The rumours which popped up and were inflamed by the posting of the photo of Kenny & Belinda on the great wall of China are allegedly just that, rumours. (I say allegedly as you can never be too sure ). They were there on their annual promo tour. They also visit India, Korea, Malaysia and the Middle East, they figured the shot was better than a boring expo hall. DW vs MW: "It's interesting that the group always puts us up against MovieWorld and them against as, as copying each other, but the reality is that there are global Themepark trends that we are always both going to have versions of and then find our own directions." Virtual Reality & the perceived secrecy around DW's happenings: "Well there are reasons for that but it can go either way. MW teased and then had trouble with the tech and it was red/green for a while. We were having the same troubles as it is new tech for us to have match the coaster. We send a few people OS to get some tips since we were doing in house development and waited until we were sure of the tech before saying we would have it. We are sure of the tech but now testing the impact in ride cycles etc. MW got more coverage by going out there which is great and has given us that "you copied" thing, but they will also need to manage the "you said you would etc ect and then you didn't" which can be hard when you are working so hard to get something done. Same desires and same great intention for their guests with a different approach." They are considering the options as far as the cost of VR goes, including the possibility of including it in the "Gold" Ride Express and/or a per-use charge.
