What is it with injuries today?! Someone passes out on hot wheels, guy falls out of log ride and I witness some woman fall off a segway, dislocate her leg and get airlifted to hospital from Fraser Island

My guess is stood up in tunnel. I always feel uneasy sitting in the back of the log while going up that hill. Always feels like one wrong lean and you'll fall backwards. There's no upstop on the logs is there?

Yeah, not denying they need new rides out there, but TBH, as much as I'd love new rides there, I'd like to see a quick paint job and refresh out there first. Wouldn't really look that great with a brand new ride in a (comparatively) run down area.

They could have put them out next to the vintage cars

Which is probably what they need when you consider all of the "new" stuff is crammed into ocean parade. The rest of the park needs some love now.

This year? No. Prior to comm games? Yes. I would hope for a full park refresh. It's like they're forgetting about the rest of the park. Ocean parade looks great, but the back of the park from RH all the way around to the other side of OP needs some 'refresh' now. The good thing is that while it's not too bad at the moment, it shouldn't take much to refresh it. Bit of paint, general tidy up etc.

Still my point. They're not going to attach the "car"? "gondola"? until the arms are in place. They don't even seem to have finished the foundations yet. My assumption now is they've taken then from the container for an inspection and will be putting them away somewhere soon.

Yeah but why not have the parts there, but sitting inside a container if they're not ready to be worked on? Or have the parts there but under a tarp until they're needed? I would have just expected them to want everything scratch/scuff/bird poop/damage free until launch day or at least until they were fixed onto the ride.

So 9.5 years now. In an industry such as this where everything is so expensive why waste any time?

Exactly. You expect it out when it's open, but why add 6 months wear and tear for no reason?
