1. B&M could make something fit, but I was talking (as the OP implied) a 'full size' coaster. To me that implies something the size of a standard Wing Coaster, Tatsu, Riddlers Revenge, Batman, etc.
2. I'd say the cable or something to do with the launch has probably come to the end of it's life and is due for a change (uneducated guess) The paint work seems to be holding up really well. Haven't noticed anything wrong with the dark portion (last went fright nights) that would need it to be down for repairs. Someone on here will have a better idea I guess.
3. Oh look, it's this thread again. You really expect them to fit in a full size B&M Wing Coaster in the space taken up by Blue Lagoon? Where can we get some of the crack you're on? You'd be lucky to fit the station and queue in there. Wouldn't need a theme if Aus ever got a full size B&M - stick it in any park, and people will flock to it and not give two shits about what it looks like around it. Please don't start the B&M debate again. As mentioned thousands of times on here, DW should start marketing MDMC as a family coaster, repaint the park, fix the cyclone queue, fix or remove the paddle steamer, clean the lake, put water and sharks back under Wipeout, replace or remove the mine ride, theme the vintage cars and only then should they even consider adding another coaster to the Blue Lagoon area or anywhere else in the park.
4. and the beginning of the park entrance
5. Promoters will sue WnW, WnW will counter sue. The whole thing will be settled out of court for an "undisclosed sum" and we'll never find out the truth.
6. These guys just look like douchebags who'd be on a get-rich-quick scheme
7. So this sin't meant to be anything much at all, just got bored, thought I'd throw some stuff together.
8. I don't think so. Factor in the cost of shipping new rides out. Factor in that outside of school holiday season, the parks are pretty dead. Add rain to that in winter and you're lucky to bump into another person in the whole park. My point is, we pay more for these things to keep the park running. Do we want to get the prices dropped to the point they have to close rides during the day to lower running costs just to keep investors happy? Plus, let's not forget about the Australia Tax.
9. Give it a week, no one who wasn't affected will give two shits.
10. I ended up buying a DW pass, so I should be heading down there in a few weeks and will give a review with pics too
11. You could go ALLLLLL the way around the back of the Storm and then up the back of the castle
12. Thank you kind sir. And thank you Mr Tell everyone everything they already know
13. Lame. Looks like this is enough of a tipping point to go back and renew a Dreamworld pass.
14. Is the wooden part raised too or can we still jump that?
15. Hmm, it didn't work for me that way either but when I typed it the way in my post it seemed to work
16. With the popularity of WnW, and the amount of people asking for a themepark in, well, pretty much anywhere except the Gold Coast, I'd say while we may not see development on it just yet, that they may be very well be doing some research in the area
17. Not sure what you mean http://youtu.be/pP5CdRiY8Ak This is the vid from your post. Are you typing it like that?
18. Before VRTP get their proposal in to do the same.
19. ^ In the school holidays if you're not going to be going back to the park soon, IMO, yes.
20. You've given up on Movieworld and started on Dreamworld instead?
21. It's school holidays, get some practice now by cramming yourself and a bunch of your friends into a phone booth when it's 35 degrees outside.
22. 1 - It won't go ahead. 2 - If it does go ahead, it really shouldn't be marketed as Wonderland, from the pics we've seen so far it would be like pissing on the grave of the old Wonderland. 3 - We have what, 1x Coaster, a chair-o-plane, 2x Drop towers (wtf) and a Sky Swing for rides, then just a shit-tonne of shops.
23. As slick said, if you came here for sympathy, you're doing it wrong
24. Just from reading this: You sound like one of those douchebags who feels the need to tell a company how to do their job. There's a right way and a wrong way to make a complaint, and just by reading this post, yours comes across like it would have been a pretty piss poor one.
