  1. Well it's probably their closest attempt at something similar. (Don't think their previous scare attractions were around the same years as FN were they?) Yes they have Screamworld, but that's just "yay we open the park late go us give us money yolo"
  2. Is this DW's answer to Fright Nights? A semi-permanent scare maze walkthrough?
  3. You seem to have summed up the "long story" right there. It's a scare maze. It's not laser tag. The end.
  4. And this detracts from the overall design of the building, how exactly?
  5. I glanced at that and thought you wrote "whateverdreamova"
  6. You sure it wasn't just a couple of guests in need of first aid and you just carelessly ignored them?
  7. While I agree with most of the other stuff you said, this is 2013, not 1993, websites and renders on those websites matter a lot. Doesn't make a difference if it's early stages or 2 days from the grand opening. The website and renders are two of the things potential investors are going to look at. Do you think they'd rather see some professional site that appears to have been designed recently, or a site that looks as though it was a school/uni project a several years ago? Dreamworld and MW were on par with this site.....in 1999. http://web.archive.org/web/19981212013703/http://dreamworld.com.au/ http://web.archive.org/web/19990117003006/http://www.movieworld.com.au/ My suggestion - go ahead with the park, but don't try to promote it as Wonderland if it's going to be sub-par to the Royal Easter Show, and get some more up to date renders done. (Check out Theme Park Studio coming out early next year)
  8. Fired it up again because I was bored. (all that above stuff was lost in a format)
  9. At least they're not just scrapping the ride all together.
  10. HANG ON A MINUTE!..... Let's not let facts stand in the way of what the dippin' dots guy told him.
  11. Oh I see how it is. We're going to start giving people credit for posts, but give the credit to the wrong person now. That's it! I can't take this any more! /wrists With the clearances they test, is there a standard size/height of a person they use to check the reach and what not on? How to they cater for really tall people?
  12. Do these things carry enough momentum from the drops or is it like a flume where the water current from pumps moves them through the track? I assume the latter?
  13. What makes you so sure? Because Mack's website seems to suggest otherwise.
  14. Exactly, I wouldn't even consider Chris' post to be "testing".
  15. A dummy sitting on top of a car covered in plastic wrap doesn't really "prove" anything apart from the fact they had no better place to sit the dummy at that time.
  16. I wasn't referring to the ride, I meant the expo in general. One thing I found with PAX in Melbourne was that the displays took up too much room which could have been used for other exhibitors. World of Tanks & Splinter Cell had large, pointless displays.
  17. Doesn't really seem like much I wouldn't have already seen at PAX, but I'll have to check it out next year.
  18. Of course dummies are used for testing. I'm not sure where you're going with this.
  19. Looks good. What fence is that too?
  20. Thought it was a bit odd that ther was no links to any twitter feed from the main site. Should we maybe remove the details of the tweets so the trolls don't get their kicks? Also, back on topic what mazes do we want this year?
  21. It was you wasn't it?
  22. Are you not so sure it's a powersurge now?
  23. I'm thinking maybe "Insidious" since it comes out this year. I'm kind of hoping it would be "Carrie" though. But I am 99.99% sure I'm completely wrong with both of those.
