  1. What did I say before?! You owe me a holiday damnit!
  2. Damnit don't post stuff like this. I can't afford another US holiday for a while now
  3. What would the weather be like? Clear sky, sunny, 23 degrees, no bite to the sun What day would it be? Any day all rides are open What sort of crowds would be there? There wouldn't be any. The park would be open only to people I chose that day What would you eat? Probably a burger and chips, I don't go to a themepark to eat fancy stuff, give me a quick meal any time. What rides would you go on? Depends what park I'm at, currently in love with SFMM as it's the best one I've been to. What shows would you see? See above Who would you go with? Whoever wanted to come along. Assuming it was all free, I'm sure I would get a few friends to come along
  4. Well it would be interesting to see how far this got
  5. We were given one of those cards but forgot to hand it in until we left the ride
  6. Any of the ones I liked if they were closing down
  7. I assumed we were only talking about major parks on the coast. As far as seaworld goes though, IMO, I would say if it closed, it would be like Fox studios in sydney. The tourist area closes but the primary function remains. So for seaworld, the rides would be gone and the shows stopped and it would become a marine centre with no public access and a lot of the land would be sold off.
  8. Seaworld WWW WnW Movieworld Dreamworld If we're only talking about the majors
  9. Oh so you don't have any approval for this yet? Maybe try something smaller like aussieworld as a test park
  10. Why not just have the solar panels charge a battery anyway? Also, how much effort did it take you to get the parks to agree to this? If it was my decision I'd be pretty hesitant about a bunch of teens wanting to add their own stuff to my park
  11. Yes people will understand, but people will not accept it. Just look at all the negative comments on apps in the market and istore - people don't think, they just complain
  12. There we go, that's a more formulated response you could learn something from this guy, harrison.
  13. Speaking of posts, I must post a lot of shit on here to be at 654 posts. and why did my post just autosave?
  14. Oh of course, it's nothing like a q4u, the q4u doesnt show wait times of rides on it's list, or if those rides are closed. good point. You should be saying 'yes it is similar to a q4u, however....'
  15. So pretty much q4u without the queuing part
  16. 2 mins for superman. We walked into the queue just as it broke down and everyone bailed and we just walked to the front of the line and they reset the ride and we were on
  17. Assuming it was turned into a paid app eventually, don't Movieworld provide this service (on a board at least) for free and as far as paying goes, DW has Q4U? I agree with Richard, a nice fun novelty and good on you for giving something a go, but he's right, pass-holders can tell and tourists/non-frequent visitors will queue for anything. PLUS, compare our queues to pretty much any park overseas and they're nothing. (In terms of theming as well )
  18. If it was to the size of WWW/WnW then I'd say yes. I seriously doubt there will be a new park any time soon, if ever. Although.... Richard Branson has the cash and the business knowledge to establish one. But where? IMO you would need to look to Sydney since they get most tourists
  19. Can the e-peen discussion be taken to PM or site discussion or something? Does Parkz really need guests to drop in to look at this topic only to see a s--t fight between members?
  20. New site concept design. I can tell you like it already. It's promoting fright night.
  21. Just paid $50,000 for our new, professionally designed logo.
  22. Yea I got excited about an actual competition too Since it seems all the cool kids are doing it, I shall start a new site too. I'm thinking "PaЯkz" Notice how the R is backwards? It's because I'm cool like that. Who's in?
