  1. I'd much rather they use the whole building for one big new ride. An updated Loony Tunes River Ride or something similar. The driving school could probably be relocated elsewhere.
  2. Agreed. A really good ad! Catchy jingle too, and completely original (absolutely no hint of anything to do with any competitors or their intellectual property)! All in all, just really good!
  3. Don't worry. That was very apparent to those of us who read posts without looking for something to be sarcastic about!
  4. Both the previous two posts suggest we need a new ride like Loony Tunes River Ride! If only it were still there!
  5. I like the sound of all those ideas. Just hoping it will be a comprehensive themed precinct where everything fits in well with the new theme. Like you I'm cautiously hopeful!
  6. In the original version of the show they used to do some driving stunts.
  7. Or take the opportunity to get rid of the whole horrific contraption, and the horrendous noise it makes constantly. Free up the space for something that's not only new, but also could be great fun!
  8. There was a little bit of 'play fighting' in Great Gatsby. Have they removed that too? I don't understand this. If they're worried about kids being influenced by violence, they all see far more violent scenes on TV every day. If they're concerned about some sort of safely risk to employees they're not doing the training correctly. The only way guests could possibly be slightly hurt (and only slightly) is by the guest being deliberately stupid, or in the case of kids by their parents failing to supervise them. None of these constitute good reasons to stop this entertainment, which is a key part of the characters.
  9. I go to the one with the attractions I most want to use that day. If I want to go on a lazy river, spa, and have a bigger choice of waterslides, Wet n Wild. If I want to go on a Masterblaster, and have the option to walk through to Dreamworld, I go to WWW.
  10. I've seen how much post-mix soft drink syrups cost. Trust me, they wouldn't be losing anything significant!
  11. Well they wouldn't want people to think it was a theme park or something!
  12. Let's put that down to (yet another) very minor oversight, shall we? They haven't had one of those for a day or two.
  13. A very minor oversight, considering the many other exciting attractions they have to promote. Oh. Hang on.
  14. The explosion makes zero sense now. No cause.
  15. In particular Hollywood Stunt driver show. What an embarrassment. Not a stunt in sight, or even anything that sort of looks like one.
  16. Really like the sound of movie magic being brought back at Movie World. That's what the park was primarily about when I first visited, and now it's become all about rides. The rides are great, but without the movie magic, it's not really Movie World. Very glad to hear it apparently will be again!
  17. Hardly seems likely. It's insanely popular with their key target customers, and due to its rustic nature it needs very little maintenance or investment. It's very basic, but it's supposed to be!
  18. We were told at least 2 years ago they were going to re-theme Gold Rush, so yes. Nothing lost really as there's almost nothing left of Gold Rush anyway. Still no real indication of what the new theme will be though (unless the whole area is themed around the "i-ride")
  19. Actually I'm inclined to agree. Just unsure how it will integrate with the surrounding structures. Would be really good if Dreamworld would give us some info on this. That way we could get excited about the changes rather than worried about how they're wrecking the parks history!
  20. Sounds like an adventure river rather than a lazy one, which makes perfect sense considering Wet & Wild has a lazy river. I'm looking forward to it.
  21. Yes, provided they have the common sense to know not to damage park property! Yeah. That's a maintenance issue, and a very basic one at that!
