Well the facades haven't been taken down so it is still china town in there.

Just went to Movie World and there seems to be no action at the park in the construction zones. China Town has yet to be pulled down by the looks of it. There is a couple of trucks down the side of the building and there are many large bins and shipping containers around the back of the building. Can't see anymore. Does anyone know what is going to replace it?

Th 10,00 was just a cost I found in the industry so I have no idea what part of the industry it is from.

It really depends on how big the land is, how big you want the park and who you employ to do the study. For a theme park it may cost a fair amount as they are generally very large and complex. I have seen the possible price of 10,000 dollars. It also depends on the location as if the location is not in a very populated area or near a very populated area it would be no use. I hope that helped.

I hope they come up with a good ride for their 21st birthday! It would be awesome if they added a new dark ride! Are they removing the entire building or just the inside as that may give us more of an insight into what may replace it.

Sorry, I haven't been on it yet as my sister is too small. She is tall enough but not wide enough. We were in the seats with the harness's on and then the attendant came along and said the harness did not fit so everyones harness in every car in the station had to go up so we could get off. *embarrassed*

Why did we start arguing about what is considered a theme park?

I was just watching the video of testing on page 29 of this thread and I was thinking why can't they have the car stop at the top of the drop for a couple of sends then let it fall. It would be like a B&M dive coaster. Surely that would add to the thrill of the ride?

Ok, back on topic. Has there been anymore action at the parks concerning these rides?

Ok everyone! You are all saying how surf rider does not fit into Wet'n'Wild and some of you are saying how rides don't fit into sea world. A theme park is a theme park! Admin choose which park they want a ride to go into. Sufrider adds to the thrill rides of Wet'n'Wild! The wild part in the name means that the rides can be wild without being wet. Surfrider adds to the thrill! Who cares what park it goes into! Everyone on here wants a thrill so just ride it! Just accept that they put a thrill ride in a park for thrill rides! Yes it would have gone fine in sea world but it goes fine in wet'n'wild because wet'n'wild is a theme park! As someone once said on here it is in a theme parks genes to have rides so just get over WVTP putting a relatively dry ride into a thrill park!

I think this park is going to be awesome! Sydney needs a proper full day park so this will be really good for the local economy! I hope this park ends up being world class so it can attract some more people to sydney and australia over all!
