Gazza, all the rides at IOA are marvel not DC

Man the theming possibilities of this ride are making me geek out to the max

As a massive DC fan I say bring on the DC themes. As I have said before in this thread DC characters will last forever! I don't think you will see any of the DC rides rethemed like the lethal weapon. Well maybe GL at some point but definitely not bats or supes. DC also allows for really good theming. The only other types of movies that would be as good would be your Harry potters and lord of the rings and they are too expensive when the park can get just a blanket DC liscence. If you don't like DC don't go to that part of the park, and also you should get a CT scan

Perhaps they are not using the water in slow months of the year. Perhaps to save money. I was there in January and it was working all 3 days I went. Or, perhaps they ran into a complication during the maintenance because it seems likes it's after that that it hasn't worked.

Theres no way movie world would replace lethal weapon wit mad max. For starters lethal weapon is so much better than mad max. Plus, movie world is targeted at tourists. Mad max is more known to Aussies. DC is such a solid choice due to its wide appeal longevity.

Geez that's almost a whole new park. Movie world wasn't that much bigger than that when it first opened.

I must say that going alone is pretty awesome. You get on so many rides due to going straight to the front most of the time. However, when I last went to surfers I went twice with the mrs and once on my own.

I don't see anyone saying " stupid Six Flags it's all DC". It's actually no more dc that it has been. We lost batman the ride now were getting a new batman ride. Also if you can think of any good movie theming that will last longer than a batman ride I'm all ears.

What's your source for this? Or are you just speculating?

Anybody been keeping an eye on the satellite image sites like near maps too see if we can see any changes when a new satelite shot is taken?

Yeah but you can play arcade games anywhere. I'd rather see an experience that can only be experienced at a theme park. If tourists are staying in surfers there's a good chance they will go to timezone so they won't bother with intencity.

How does Movie World not realize how much of a waste of space intencity is? Who goes to a theme park to ride dodge'ems or play Daytona? There a some many better "themed" uses for that space.

I was definitely thinking the scarecrow would be involved but I definitely think that it will be all the villains ganging up on bats but the joker will be in the thick of it. Much like the video game.

I don't think a horror movie theme is likely. It also needs to be a theme that isn't going to age. I think that's the problem with the lethal weapon theme, they are great movies but the new generation isn't going to be ale to relate with them. It's the same if you create a saw or nightmare on elm street theme, in 5 years it's out of date. Actually nightmares elm street is already out of date. I do think that the joker has something to do with it. They have built that big joker float for the parade but the joker has no current attractions that he has anything to do with. It cold be an arkham asylum theme where the joker is on the loose. I think they have to make the most out of this dc liscence they have.
