Wow, glad the Lonney Tune Costumes have evolved since then, they looked pretty tacky :/

has anyone else seen this yet? >> its the Superman Escape in minature.

A new page is up on Dreamworld's website, with a few details about "Po's Garden" >> http://www.dreamworld.com.au/Attractions/Pos-Kung-Fu-Garden/Pos-Kung-Fu-Garden.aspx

Last I saw China Town looked much the same as in previous pics, I hope the wet weather is slwoing things down to much in there. One thing I want to see is the "lethal Weapon" Chinese arch replaced with the iconic arch gateway into arkham asylum.

You really want to get your point across hey you've posted this comment on a number of Movie World's Facebook pics already.

A boulder is a type of drink bottle that usually refers to the metallic flask style bottles.

Shouldn't this be the best coaster 2011, as 2012 is far from over. like all award ceremonies they are held at the begininng of the year to vote the best of the previous year.

Movie World commented about the "Looney Tunes River Ride" on their Facebook page in repsonse to someone asking about it, they stated - "Dont worry it will be replaced one day with something even better - if thats possible" and "No offical word yet on what will replace it"

It is possible, it wouldn't take long to stick up a few "Cutouts" of the characters, just like when it was nickelodeon. The isn't much that needs to change so it would probably be done much closer the opening date.

Does anyone now whether the "Pipline Plunge" at Whitewater World will be getting a Dreamworks theme makeover.

Speaking of effects - now that the QLD drought is well and truly over I think it would be great to see the water effects (and the shark) back on The Wipeout at Dreamworld.

Haha noticed that straight away, and the description for the "Whats up Rock?" Show is the description for the Scooby Doo Coaster. Obviously its just been put up and still needs quite a few "kinks" ironed out.

From the placement of this sign it seems pretty certain the "Spring 2012 Attraction" will be in the old Batman Simulator Building.

Yes Spring is September, October, November. But themeparks tend to always open their new attractions to conicide with the QLD school holidays which start Saturday September 22nd and end Sunday October 7th. They would open it at the start of the holiday period to get the most "time" out of it.

And maybe thats Catwoman on the left? Based on the Anne Hathaway version in the Dark Knight Rises? Or maybe Wonderwoman (with the whip), and Superman in the middle???

True, but I also used the word "Constantly" changing- One major change since 1997 isn't exactly constant. But I've added TOT to my original comment if it makes you happy

Well dreamworld isn't really one for "Definfing Boundries" , especially when it comes to Motocoaster - Rivertown, Rivertown - Wigglesworld, Wigglesworld - TOT.

Perhaps if it is Batman themed, they might theme it like " Batman: The Ride " from the Six Flags Parks in the US. (Inverted steel coaster, themed as Gotham City/Batcave) >> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman:_The_Ride According to the wiki, Parque Warner Madrid also has the ride under the name Batman: The Escape (due to licensing issues I would assume).

Well TOT II wasn't much of re-theme - more of an update. (the Wipeout has changed more over the years than TOT)

GoGoBoy, on 21 February 2012 - 05:43 PM, said: This is like a lesson in how many times can you re-theme rides before letting them die. In Dreamworld's case - A LOT Well most of these rides are just standard run kids rides, whats wrong with a re-theme if the mechanics are all fine, besides this will be the first re-theme for a lot the rides eg. The Runaway Reptar, Jungle Rampage, Spongebob Flypants (not counting the revert to the generic naming). Its not as if they are constantly changing any major rides (Giant Drop, Claw, Wipeout, Cyclone, TOT ect.)

Dreamworld has stated that Po's Garden, (based on Kung-fu Panda) will be added late 2012. (I know this wouldn't happen in a million years), But it would be awesome if The Lair and housed Panda's.

So what is to become of the Avalanche / Angry Beavers Spooty Spin?
