  1. The barcode scanner things were already bunched in the corner when it was a shop, they didn’t see the need to spend extra $$ just to spread them out, simple explanation.
  2. Meanwhile our parks are winning prizes for designing a hat 😅
  3. Road runner is single lap bar.
  4. Noticed a new TV commercial this afternoon advertising the Village Roadshow Passes which mentioned a new Aquaman Exhibition coming to Movie World in December. I wonder if it will be a studio soundstage tour, similar to the Narnia exhibition, or whether it will be housed somewhere in the park itself. from the website: Dive into the underwater world of Aquaman this December! Go behind the scenes of the block buster motion picture then explore amazingly crafted set pieces and beautifully elaborate props that brought the film to life! The Aquaman Exhibition is coming soon exclusively to Warner Bros. Movie World for the very first time.
  5. Ok, just an odd thing to point out then.
  6. Heres a slightly better mock up of my idea, obviously the right side would have to be done as well to keep it symmetrical. I don’t it would cost too much to implement and I think it makes a big difference.
  7. This is a standard clause for all live performances, I don’t see the issue?
  8. Even Universal doesn’t try to hide the whole show building, it’s all about perspective. Perhaps they could continue the Stonework half-way up the soundstage, and incorporate the pillars that hold the posters as part of the castle, and paint the top half “sky blue”.
  9. The large tree to the left of the Scooby Doo castle has been removed. Photo credit: Instagram user lukey_boy_90
  10. I think it would be great if they had some info in the queue letting people know that movie was filmed on site at the studios, a lot of non-locals don’t seem to know this. I’m sure they could also get some of the original costumes/props or even make replicas and put them on display in the queue for people to look at.
  11. Kind of like Dreamworld then.
  12. Have you seen videos of Mystic Manor, that’s a great example of what projection mapping can do when combined with physical props.
  13. Sure, let’s build a WB world inside WB World, oh wait they already did with the Junior Driving School.
  14. I think Movie World has more than enough Batman as it is 🤭
  15. Movie World has already confirmed it will remain themed to the 2002 Scooby-Doo film. The email that first mentioned the next generation version stated - “Be immersed in some of the spookiest scenes from the Scooby-Doo film”.
  16. The lease agreement for rivals lists it as an expense, so does this mean MW are leasing the Hypercoaster for $5.4million per year from Mack for the next 5 years after which they pay a fee and own it outright? Similar to how airlines operate, they lease out the aircraft from Boeing & Airbus and after the lease expires they can purchase the aircraft.
  17. They changed the overall theme of the Lethal Weapon, so They had to change the name, so that point isn’t exactly valid. If they kept it as Leghal weapon theme and added a Lethal VR they could have just called it “Lethal Weapon: Next Generation”. If they changed the Scooby to “Jokers Funhouse” then yes a name change is valid. But by keeping it a Scooby theme people will ultimately just call it the Scooby Coaster regardless, so a major name change is unecessary.
  18. It’s fine as a name, it’s the same coaster with “next generation” tech added. MW wouldn’t be wise to totally change the name as it it will be the “same ride” with added features. Imagine the backlash if they gave a whole new name and marketed it as a totally new ride. Most people will still just call it the Scooby Coaster either way.
  19. I think you mean 15th of June 🤔
  20. Getting the new entry ready for use in Fright Nights maybe?
  21. The herb garden is opposite the Road Runner Rollercoaster, next to the photo pass scanners. The other pics are of the seating area in the Wild West section opposite the mural.
  22. He has probably bought fast track for a lot of it. Plus backwards more than 100 times will take you to the front of the line.
  23. I noticed that on Friday, I thought it was new but couldn’t remember if it turned off previously. It’s a great effect to keep the water running, you can see everyone squeeze over to avoid getting wet.
  24. On Friday they were loading only 6 people and the line was about 30mins, by the afternoon the the line was basically walk-on and they were loading a full 8 per boat when possible. So has nothing to do with line length.
