  1. I like how suddenly when a community leader posts, thanks Flea, everyone changes their opinion about the subject. There is no other way I can present it without telling you the other piece of information, I know I'm starting to sound like RWC and I wish I wasn't but why can't you just take a rumour and think about it, think about what they could put in for $25 million. Sorry for starting this.
  2. I honestly wish I could tell you the truth about the person that told me, it will gain both your confidence and stop this banter that is reflective of what is seen in other topics.
  3. That won't stop us from coming up with possible rides. And now with that comment T-bone, you look like the immature one that takes the joke too far.
  4. Now this is the type of conversation I was after, thanks Slick Personally I believe an Intamin Mega-Lite would suit incredibly well and RCDB lists it at $15 million, which leaves $10 million if the information is true. That 10 million can go to an amazing kids ride, but personally, I think Dreamworld have enough of them at the minute.
  5. What if I and the staff member had a level of trust and the staff member knew what Parkz was?
  6. Thanks for the etiquette lesson, but there's something else the person restricts me from telling you, which I know would sway your opinion but I can't. Sounds like I'm turning into the next RWC :/
  7. Ok. I definitely see the problem, I just meant money/ride wise, yeah I know I said that I believe it to be very accurate but if it didn't show up on the ASX report you could only say that it will be in the next couple of years, could you not?
  8. I said maybe over the next couple of years as well?
  9. Well I think it's very accurate, and this certain person seemed very confident and knowledgeable.
  10. Well I havent stopped posting for this, I realise the information is not 100% reliable, but I believe something may come of it, we'll just have to wait and see. What rides do you think Dreamworld will use the money with, if definite?
  11. So I thought it would be fun for Parkz members to design a theme park on this forum and then send it to Clive Palmer haha. Long shot I know, but he is building the second Titanic for god's sake and continually boasts about he's multi-billion dollar bank account.
  12. I knew you'd ask, I can't tell. I shouldn't have even said it because I knew It'd be faced with these types of comments. That is all I know, I didn't get it from a Dippin Dots guy, I have no idea if MACK is involved (yes I know you're taking off RWC), but I can tell you it's true. I was told this year, but maybe it's over the next couple of years.
  13. Well I heard that Dreamworld are planning 2 new rides totalling $25 million, one thrill and one family. Don't ask me how I know.
  14. I remember it, and remember going accidentally before the green light on the ride you're talking about. However, your point is true as I'm probably the only person my age that shows this much interest into themeparks and their history.
  15. The enclosed slides I find are really claustrophobic but I was pleasantly surprised with how fast they are. Would definitely not want to get stuck in one
  16. But Gazza, if that was the case, loading time would need to be extremely quick and as I have experienced and I'm sure everyone has here, not everyone is competent at loading into a raft. This would just buffer the wait time anyway.
  17. you are talking about iJustine there, she hates anything that moves. I suggest you research your example before posting.
  18. That's a first.... If they could make the mine ride like crush's coaster with dark segments and a big indoor coaster section I think Dreamworld would be flying. And the 4d cinema would work well too
  19. Going with the two separate queues, it's just like scooby's outdoor switchback...
  20. I stayed at MGM when I went to Vegas in 2010 with my family, the pools are awesome, whilst I did notice it was a little far down the strip the resort had so much for you to do. I went to circus circus and the roller coaster at New York New York, I went to the coaster on opening and got straight on, awesome ride, circus circus was a little overrated, the rides need some work but it did get you out of the heat. I did a whirlwind Disneyland/DCA trip with a 3 day pass and got almost everything done, I actually went to the premiere of World of Color and it was AMAZING, little did I know the night we arrived and I noticed that world of Color was on (thinking it was a dress rehearsal) it was the celebrity premiere, I was less than a kilometre from some of the biggest stars in Hollywood. Knotts berry farm was awesome, the xcelerator is a must do, the first ever intamin launch, but extremely fast. Didn't get to go to SFMM but I wish I did. Enjoy your trip and congratulations!
  21. The response they gave you sounds very promising though, as they said "we don't have any news to announce" and how they stated "you sure are on top of the coaster news."
