Apparently it was about 75 minutes after like 15 min of the area being open...

I'm sorry but some people are silly. Who would spend almost a full day in line for one ride? Even if it's brand new nothing is worth a 7.5 hour wait... And that was on top of a 2.5 hour wait just to get into Diagon Alley... The rest of the park wasn't too quiet either.

Yeah, because Inferno was a harness issue on a Zacspin so they'll wait till investigations are over to clear the ride for operation. -

What it does show though it how safe the ride really is. For a car to derail and not fall to ground while no harnesses fail is amazing, especially for a ride of its age. So glad no one was seriously injured and I hope to see it up and running soon. I also hope to see Green Lantern reopen soon too after the tragedy on Inferno. -

So Ninja was literally a tree obstructing the track. There was nothing wrong with the coaster itself so it should be open soon. Everyone was safely evacuated and 2 people were sent to hospital. -

The last person has just left the train. -
Today (yesterday US time) has been a pretty horrific day in the industry: The first accident was an 18 year old dying on Inferno at Terra Mítica which is an Intamin Zacspin. Reports say that he flew out of the ride after 'failing harness protection'. Full Article - - - - - The second accident happened on Ninja in Six Flags Magic Mountain where reports say a tree branch fell across the track and the train derailed. Apparently everyone is conscious and alert with only 4 people injured but everyone is still stuck in the train. Full Article The Ninja news is especially sad for me as I'm heading out to the park around New Years. It is a great ride and I really hope this isn't the end of it. There's only a few of these roller coasters left in the world and it would be a shame to see it go. _____________________________________ For those who don't want to open the links: Inferno Article (google translated): More recently... - - - - - Ninja Article (still waiting for updates) Photos from Ninja (literally FROM Ninja) Ninja Live Stream

Today I was back out at Dreamworld and have a few photos from around Ocean Parade to share... The sign is back looking fresh as ever. The new thrill ride is really starting to move along. Still a lot to be done, but there is progress. Hope this has gives an orientation of how everything is positioned. Over at Wipeout... The queue has new railings, posts, paint and a ceiling (the original queue didn't have a ceiling, just beams holding up the roof) They've gone all out with the jagged lines. This will be a path in the very near future. Not sure if I'm too keen on the new surf board colour scheme and logo. I know some photos of Wipeout were put up earlier today but I thought I'd share mine anyway. Also, what do people think the new thrill ride will be after seeing the new concrete which has been laid? Hope this has helped.

They've had a Matrix Exhibit in the past too.

Dark ride concept... going through different dimensions. If done right it would be a hit but it would never happen.

Could you imagine some sort of ride based around Inception? Not necessarily as a possibility but it could be a really cool concept. Hey, maybe they could throw in a woodie near WWF and theme it to Terminator!

Instead of doing something to the whole Chinatown Alley maybe they could somehow integrate the Gotham town hall into the AA courtyard where the gate beside Scooby is?

Can you see mine? ^
