Zodiac was the flying island right? If so I have a feeling it ended up at SFMM. But after it was taken out of there I have no idea where it went, if anywhere. Also not sure about Space Probe but I highly doubt it went anywhere other than the scrap yard.

Yeah I had a platinum pass too and I know I won't be renewing. Getting a Discovery Passport instead.

But being the weekend they had two operators for parts of the day and they never opened. I was there at the beginning of the last school holidays and it was still the case.

Isn't 160km/h like 88mph?

I know, it's just disappointing. It's the tunnel that makes the ride, without it S:EFK at SFMM beats it out any day.

Anyone else notice the guy in the first video said up to 100k/h? TOT2 is supposed to go up to 160k/h is it not? And they weren't even looking anywhere near the tower in the 2nd video lol

Oh and I also noticed some more effects at the beginning of Thunder River Rapids in the cave and the log ride actually had lights on in that cave! First time I've noticed it anyway.

Not sure if anyone has heard that the second series of the Ultimate Coaster Wars is on at the moment. It's only on in America but has anyone found a stream for the new season online? EDIT: Insane Coaster Wars* my bad

I visited Dreamworld yesterday and there were a few things which I believe are worth pointing out. Firstly, the speakers up the lifthill weren't working all day. They were only on once when I rode and in the afternoon, all the sound effects were off in the station and queue as well. Also, the 1st row of the 2nd car are still not being used. Does anyone know the reason for this? I also went for a walk around the Australian Wildlife Experience for the first time and there was an empty lot of land next to the rainforest section. Obviously it won't become a new ride but the area is fenced up so there might be some new animals on their way? While around the back of the lake I saw the old paddle boat left to rot away. Even though I never rode it (and probably wouldn't if it was still operating) it is sad to see a part of the park's history rotting away. I also got this photo of the Giant Drop from the base of the tower. (All the photos were taken on my iPhone so the quality isn't great)

I know they have been doing this for a while now, but most of the coasters that they have shared aren't the biggest and best out there. Does anyone think they are doing this as a kind of market research to see what type of coaster grabs the public's attention? Could possibly become the next big thing on the Gold Coast. Warner Bros. Thanks for the comments! So far there hasn't been any progress on the rest of the park. I'm not sure I will ever finish it. I recently made a FaceBook page where I will post any photos I may have (before the forums), any support is welcome.

I went to SFMM and used the Platinum Flash Pass (highest level) and it was TOTALLY worth it! Waited a maximum of 3 minutes for a ride (Tatsu) and rode it twice without getting off (as long as you aren't in the front or back row). The only bummer is they charge extra per ride on X2 with a Flash Pass. By memory it was about $15, but considering the lines are usually 2+ hours it is also worth it.

Well, Pandamonium looks fantastic! Plus, the painting on the Tower of Terror: And yes, there are a few speakers scattered up the lift hill of Buzzsaw and they indeed play audio during the ride! Adds a nice touch to the overall experience.
