  1. It was my idea first... And I want them to have a kids show also, just shift it to KidsWB and use the Show Stage for a modern update of the effects show. Movie Magic 2 could be themed to the DC Comics films as the Show Stage is over there close enough to the "Hub". Would create a kind of effect-Stunts themed mini-section as obviously it's also close to Stunt Driver. "DC Comics Movie Magic Show"? Naturally the Superman flying demonstration(Version 2, showing off Motion Capture and mapping of the volunteers' face too) would still be the climax of it.
  2. Meh, wasn't far off. And you have to admit I got "The Secret" right(so far... Fingers crossed!)
  3. Thanks Joz, that was a really good response. Thank you.
  4. The fact is though that apart from not being used to film movies or television, they do contain some soundproofing and are otherwise similar. Also the designations/building-names are obviously somewhat real as that would be useful especially in case of an emergency or fire. My point is they ARE designed to block noise, especially that coming from the inside... That's all I'm saying here. Pretty much Soundstages are like Show Buildings that have simply been decked out for filming and the purpose of the soundproofing is reversed(blocking outside noises, as opposed to a Show Building which is designed to stop noise escaping from it. To say I was "so far off" is inappropriate, as effectively the buildings are almost exactly the same design, only used for different purposes. They are effectively "Building cousins" and most people would just call them the same! P.S. GoGoBoy... Television studios and Film Studios are all mostly soundproofed.A Sound Stage at it's core is simply a soundproofed studio that exists for filming of anykind. Motion Capture studios are also Sound Stages as well, when Soundproofed.
  5. I don't know where you get your information from, but THEY ARE REAL SOUNDSTAGES with REAL DESIGNATIONS. They are designed that way to block excess noises made by the rides from escaping... They are soundstages designed to reduce the noise pollution from the Park, and also to increase the rider's quality of experience. Although not used for filming, the fact is they are all the same type of building and are designed primarily stop noises escaping the building. If MW ever wanted to turn any of them into a film studio, they'd just gut it and renovate to make it a studio, but they wouldn't need to add any sound insulation as it's already installed. Especially the Scooby Doo ride.
  6. Got it... If they did use all the Building for the ride(I doubt it), then likely the sets will be elaborate like before.
  7. New pics are on the Facebook page. No track yet, it's all ground work, looks like the ride queue and station being built to me. Kinda looks like it could be themed to some sort of Bunker or Gulf War Military theme as it looks like they're building a grey brick wall at the rear of it and the ride looks like it will be close to the ground(as they're digging trenches)... Lots of earthworks so far... As I said, EUROFIGHTER!
  8. Yes I agree... Could they make it two levels? Or just share it(cars ride one side, show theatre on another?). A Show theatre doesn't need that much space at all. Maybe seating for 300-500 people and a medium sized stage area. Being indoors would certainly help the What's Up Rock show, not harm it. And they could use it for more than 1 kids show. Would turn it back into a major Looney Tunes hub in my opinion, with the Cars ride also using tunes or KidsWB characters in it. ....unless the mini-cars ride isn't as mini as it sounds? Like the sets could be really elaborate and multileveled? But I doubt that somehow.
  9. Personally I would keep and shift What's up Rock to a new WBKids dedicated theatre in the Kids area in the old LTRR building, share it with the Cars ride(would be walled off). Then put an entirely new show on the original Show Stage to do with either DC Characters or bring back a new updated version of the Movie Magic demonstration show(I think that would be a fantastic idea, doesn't have to use the same name if they don't want to!). Use the Show stage for a few different shows if possible, and put on more elaborate short SFX shows than the Main Street ones. I think 3 dedicated show areas in each front Hub of the park is a good idea. One in the Kids zone in LTRR, Stunt Driver, and the Show stage(which isn't too far from the DC Hub or the old "Movies" themed area). I'm not that worried about "losing one ride building" unlike other users, as after all it would still house a major dark section of the mini-cars ride anyway. And it is one of their biggest ride buildings, it could house a dedicated kids show theatre(needed really) and even possibly the entire mini-cars ride, without an outdoor section?
  10. With the demolition of Marvin though, it's clear the ride won't take up the whole building, it'll do an indoor-outdoor circuit and that exit shown in the pic could be where it goes in and/or out of the ride building.
  11. LOL... Didn't put it there for that reason though! Also "I work there" is the guy's response. So we've established that. Doesn't appear to be "a grunt" to me. Can someone else do the honors so it doesn't look like im interrogating him??
  12. Could just be updated/revised. Keep the name, but change the show around a bit.
  13. What are you on about? Your post doesn't make sense. I think you misread what I wrote? I never said the Show stage would be converted to a ride. There's plenty of things that could happen... I was just saying there's a Distinct possiblity the LTRR Building could be refurbished to house both a stage area for a show, and at the back of it have an enclosed section of the Cars ride's Circuit/Track. And that's just my two-cents. I never said they would put a ride in the Show Stage area... Who knows? Perhaps they might just shut it off! I don't give a shit... I was talking about the LTRR building.
  14. Police Academy ran for like near 30 years... 4 years is a "Baby show" if we're talking of themepark show lifespans, even for the ones on a stage. That's not a good reason.
  15. Also possible they're just shifting it to another new home in the LTRR building(which appears to have been gutted) along with the Cars attraction(going in and out of the Building into the now demolished Marvin area, while Rock could take up the rest of it) Obviously that location is much better(and indoors) so perhaps they're taking the opportunity to do the "double whammy". I think it's almost certain two attractions are going in there... And Rock or it's successor could certainly be the "other attraction". I think now they've really fleshed out the "DC Zone" they're starting to shift attention to making over the WB Kids area, possibly they could expand it.
  16. However if they demolished the Marvin ride, that means this is most likely an indoor AND outdoor attraction(that goes into the building probably for the "mini main street" and comes back outside for a traditional section, if you can understand that this attraction is REALLY a kids driving school but done on a "Movie World" scale. As you've noted in your other thread, it appears What's up Rock is "gone".... You don't think there could be a correlation? Perhaps IT could be the second attraction, and they're converting it into a Show Stage in one part, and a enclosed section of the driving school in another part of the Building? JUST SAYIN! Someone has to!
  17. Can't see the whole building from that only the exit, which I however agree that it does look worked on. I wonder if the ride zips in and out of the building? Like part of it is inside(the main street section?) and part of it is outside where the Marvin ride was? Kind of like a suped up version of a kids traffic school(and the traditional tunnel section could zip into the building, down "main street" and back out another exit! Would be cool for the kids if it did.... Just speculating. Ride queue could be near the other WB kids rides if it did, could start in the old Marvin ride location. And there could still be room for a second attraction in the building using the original queue.
  18. The youtube link(removed the www so it doesn't do that auto code shit, but it appears to have done it now dammit) is in the first post on it by me... Go look there. No response yet... Nothing more to discuss till he responds.
  19. Or something similar to Superman Escape, a small but cool darkride section followed by the main coaster section.
  20. In the description on Facebook they said the ride construction began "at the other end" in their rhetorical question, and it appears they did put something in(a footer? That object in the middle that appears at the end) and they also worked on the hill(earthworks) behind. So the track likely does come into this section later. As I said, it's likely they started with the Station section first(over the other side where the flurry of activities are happening) and this part where the Camera is positioned is probably where they will be finishing. EDIT: The earthworks occured in the previous video... As did the placing of that little black thing(on the ground near the cloaked guy on his right) in the middle. Not this newer video.
  21. Lol, at least I do have a source this time.... Weird. I promise won't comment anymore till I get response!
