Yeah back in the 80's they were. They did a run out of all the coke stock earlier in the week but now it's officially changed over. Apparently it will let them offer a more diverse product range. How does everyone feel about it ?

Just a tad bit of an update of something else at Dreamworld. It seems they have ditched coke and become a Pepsi park. All signage has been changed drink fountains replaced and frozen cole replaced with pepsi freeze.

6.4million is for the half yearly period (Jan 2014 til 30th June 14) which shows the approx amount of money that will be spent on park improvements between now and then.

If you listen to the webcast in regards to the result presentation for Ardent at the end the floor is opened up to questions where an investor asks why there was no investment planned for the theme parks this year to which Greg Shaw stated that new rides and what not are listed under 'routine capex' which is at $8million. Yes they are spending money.. wipeout is a 1.6 million refurb which leaves other money in the kit for the planned new rides for this year. If you look over at Village in the same period they are only spending $9million across 3 parks.

I have under extremely good authority from a large construction company in Brisbane that Dreamworld will be installing a new thrill ride to replace Reef Diver in September. The company has been booked in to commence work in July due for completion at the end of August. I'll do some more digging as to what type of ride it will be in the next few weeks. What would you like to see?

Name of the attraction will be Hair Raiser. More information will be revealed by the park as the week goes on.

AlexB you seem to always be on the end of negativity in these forums. It would have been a lot easier and more welcoming to assist a fellow member with an answer to a question rather than constant nitpicking. If you didn't have anything valuable to contribute to the discussion in this post my suggestion would be not to contribute at all instead of being a big man and attacking from behind a keyboard. On top of that I think that your use of words should be better used and perhaps understand that the term 'disabled' might offend some.

Through a recent shareholders meeting up and coming attractions for the theme park division were discussed and the name was confirmed for the September attraction.

I believe this new attraction replacing AVPX will be known as 'Evilution' and will be opening mid September in time for the next school holiday period.
