  1. OMG!! I just saw this on Facebook. And literally ran onto here!! I am shaking!! 😱😱🤩
  2. I’ve ridden it a number of times. Usually 5-10 times a visit. I don’t get scared up the top. But the drop always takes my breath away. I wouldn’t say you’re desensitised, more the fact that you’re aware of the feeling. maybe a bit of a break may help. But I wouldn’t stress. As it’s an amazing rides and deserves to be ridden again and again and again.
  3. So I attended Halloscream on Saturday and had to check out the Tumble Bug. im not sure if it has been mentioned already here on this forum but the fencing around the ride had been removed. It appears to have been cut using an Angle Grinder. This looks like it may be the end of the ride
  4. I didn’t realise the Moon Ranger had been removed until just then!! I was only checking because I’m going to Halloscream this Saturday. Sad to see such an iconic ride leave Happy it was replaced temporarily by the Power Surge! Excited to see if they will invest in a new permanent ride to take its place in the future tho.
  5. I’m going to do 2 days at each Disney and universal park. I was also going to buy members passes for the chains like Six Flags, SeaWorld and Cedar Fair. That way I can pay them off over the course of a year. This also gives me the option to race back into a park to get those missed rides if needed before travelling to the next park. hopefully this trip follows through. Keen for a solo American coaster trip!! Bring on 2022!! thanks for the help!! I don’t know. I have a feeling once Avengers Campus opens, more boarding passes will be available. I think it will be longer before they remove the boarding pass system and move over to the normal standby lines.
  6. For those that have been to the major parks in the US, which parks would you recommend visiting more than one day for?? Thanks. just planning 2 years early. 😂
  7. I do like the Vest Restraints, lap bars would be interesting but I feel you’ll be whipped from side to side, at least the vest restraints hold you down. But yeah I meant the look of the trains being toy cars I doubt it will fit in for the ride being hot wheels cars. If their repainting the track I’m hoping they will redo the train also to make it fit in with the new colour scheme. I’m not sure. I guess we shall wait and see what happens.
  8. I’m so excited for the new paint job!! Gunna look so fresh!! Now that the Hot Wheels theme is now no more, I’m assuming there will be new trains?? I’m excited to see the completed refurbishment, There’s just something about this Classic Arrow coaster that I love. Can’t wait to ride it again at the end of the year, assuming they get it back up and running by then
  9. A maybe is still a maybe. And with him attending IAPPA, there may be hope.
  10. I feel like this is a good sign. Imagine Movie World owning a B&M and or Gerstlauer!!
  11. So you could say they ‘Banana Split’. i’m so sorry. I saw the opportunity 😂
  12. So I went to Dreamworld on Monday. Was very quiet. Rides were pretty much walk on all day. but I was rather disappointed in the staff... I send Dreamworld this: “Hi, I visited the park today (Monday 14th October) and I just wanted to let you know some of my observations from today. I love Dreamworld, it is one of my favourite parks in Australia. And I make sure to visit whenever I’m in Queensland. But today I noticed a lot of the staff were rather down and slumpish. I, and many other guests love enthusiasm from the ride operators, it adds to to the ride experience. But apart from the staff operating Sky Voyager, Tower of Terror, Giant Drop and Buzzsaw. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there. During the morning, my sister and I were queuing for the MotorCoaster, my sister turned to me and commented on the way the operator was talking to the guests in the queue. Instead of politely asking the guests to move down the line, she was very demanding and monotone, and just being rude to the guests. Apart from that, the other ride operators just did what they had to do, say what they had to say and left it at that, only a small few (listed above) added their own spark to their job, and that really added to the ride experience, small talk and jokes with the guests are a great way to start, and keeping a smile on your face when in view of the guests also helps. I also noticed a lack of speed when it came to ride dispatches. I’m not saying rush. I’m saying, some of the staff took their time doing the safety checks for the rides in between operations, they dragged their feet, no emotion on their faces as if they were waiting to go on break or go home for the day. I’m a huge fan of Dreamworld. And absolutely loved the customer service from the shops and cafe workers, but I just wanted to share my experience with some of the Ride Operators from today. Please give my praise to the ride operators of Sky Voyager, Buzzsaw, Giant Drop and Tower of Terror, They really made my visit 10x better!!“ The next day, I got a reply. “Hey Zachery, thanks for giving us your feedback! It's so important for us to be able to experience the park through our guests' eyes, and to see what they love, and how we can improve. Customer service is a super important part of why our parks are among Australia's most loved attractions, so we'll definitely pass your comments on to our management team for you. We'll also be able to share you positive feedback for some of the staff you encountered during your visit, I'm sure they'll be stoked to have made a positive impact on your visit. If we can assist or clarify at all further, just let us know!”
  13. I went last night also. It, and Doll Haus were my 2 stand out mazes!! I did find they relied on similar scares across the majority of the mazes, so some scenes were predictable. But over all, a very enjoyable night. although the lines were long, the staff moved a lot of people through rather quickly, so save your money on those fast track tickets, honestly, no need for them.
  14. The rides surprisingly continued. Weather’s cleared up. And wwf is back up and running
  15. At movie world currently. So far this morning. We have been turned away from GL, WWF and AA due to technical difficulties. They expect to reopen them later today. Update: as I’m writing this GL is currently testing.
  16. Towards the end of the recent ParkChat Live episode Bikash (the current COO of Village Roadshow Theme Parks) pretty much said there’s possibly more to come at Movie Word.
  17. Well let’s hope this true and not a social media lie
  18. Not sure if this person is a part of this forum. But ima post this here. This may close some speculations.
  19. not sure if this has been posted before. But I stumbled across it and thought I’d give it a share.
  20. 5 mazes?! Wow. That’s actually great news!! I’ve traveled from Sydney the past 2 years just for fright nights and plan on doing it again this year. So I’m rather excited!! And with 3 new mazes. That have to be good. Can’t wait for the announcement. But I’m hoping for “IT”. And just in time for the release of chapter 2!!
  21. I know this is an old ride that isn’t manufactured anymore. But I’d love to see a 1st generation Intamin Freefall in one of our parks. Custom made to be taller and faster. I dunno why, I just find them visually appealing and interesting and would love to ride one.
  22. I thought the same. Half an hour of extra Park time... I was expecting at least an extra hour or two.
  23. At least the Wave Swinger is a permanent addition to the park. Can’t wait to see what the future holds. Hopefully something thrilling!!
  24. How long do you think it will be before Movie World announces the dates and new mazes? Want to organise to go. Can’t wait!!
